I'm all about Marcus Thigpen.

I don't think Jenkins lasts to 13 either.

Duke Robinson won't last until 24.

I'm with you on all points. If teams think Duke could play tackle at ANY point in his career, he's going to go top 15 and make that sudden jump that Branden Albert did last year.

I would REALLY like that offseason, despite the fact that the Cap will keep us from signing Haynesworth.

I know Aaron Curry is the surest thing at LB in ages, and Laurianitus (sp) and Mauluga are also premiere prospects, but I really like Stintim. A 4-3 OLB who can pass rush? That's pretty impressive. 3-4 LBers are essentially smaller, faster DEs who just stand up and rush, but to see a guy who can handle the responsibilities of a 4-3 OLB and still get to the passer is phenomenal.

We should go for Michael Johnson. The DE from Georgia Tech. Dude is NASTY!!!

Stintim has more Career TFL than Johnson does Sacks. The last thing we need is a featherweight DE. I'd take Stintim and address a need than draft another tiny pass rusher.

Too early for draft talk IMO. You've got months and months to talk about the draft.

And we're going to talk about it for months and months.

The season is over in a couple of days. What else you suggest we talk about? We're already talking about the 49ers. After that, its just the draft and FA.

I think the Haynseworth situation would depend on who is a cap casualty next year. I'm guessing Springs is gone if we can lock DeAngelo into a long term deal. I could see Marcus going as well, especially if we pick up an LB like Sintim (who I agree is a complete beast). If we were able to land Haynseworth I think Griff would be a goner too. Thats a bunch of cap space opened up. If the Dan wants Haynseworth, I think he'll find a way to get him. And to be honest I wouldn't mind one bit. The guy is a freaking animal and would give us that inside push at DT that we've needed for ages.

Posted this somewhere else but:

What do you guys think of trading our 1st round pick for two early 2nd round picks/1 late 1st pick and an early 2nd round pick similar to last year? (Perhaps to the Lions??-Might be difficult). If we could get Alex Mack and Duke Robinson our offensive line would a monster for years. What do you think??

Sorry if it's been brought up already.

I can't see Haynesworth becoming an UFA, if the Titans don't resign him they will at a min put the franchise tag on him and trade him for at least a 1st IMO.

So you haven't read the multitude of media reports earlier from last year when Haynesworth agreed to the franchise tag last year with a condition from the team that he wouldn't be franchised again if he made certain milestones (which he did, of course)?

I mean.... there's at least 100 posts from ES members throughout these threads over the past 2 weeks indicating as much.

Are Rod Bironas and Shane Lechler truly FA's this offseason? That would be insane... and the Redskins would be completely idiotic not to sign BOTH of them considering the woes we've had at those positions for nearly 20 years now.

Not sure about Bironas, but I know that Lechler will be changing uniforms this year.
