But not much. Barber reported that more than $77,000 in property was taken from his apartment between March 31 and May 21. The stolen property included a football signed by Tony Romo sits to pee, a $36,000 diamond chain, electronic equipment, and an iPod bearing the Pro Bowl emblem. Barber has received the football and the iPod. The most amazing aspect of this story is that Barber would own a $36,000 diamond chain . . . and then leave it somewhere for nearly two months. Then again, diamond chains are turning out to be a better investment than stocks. At least when the diamond chain disappears, there's the possibility of getting reimbursed by an insurance policy.
