michael_33
This is not a mock draft or who you think we will draft or even who we need at this point... This thread is simple!Who do you hope we draft (in any round) that is/was your favorite college player during the 07 season? Now when I say favorite, that generally means...1 guy people....!Not the Maryland roster or 7 guys that you like out of the wac...1 PLAYER! I'm talkin' like if the Redskins drafted him and it was a terrible pick consensus wise, reach, totally didn't have a need at that position, probably won't even make it to final cut day because it was such a bad pick in the public and other Redskins fans opinions....BUT it didn't matter to you cause you love the guy and he's your favorite and your jumping up and down type of excitement! That's what I mean by favorite! What favorite player of yours,do you actually hope the Redskins draft in any round? My player:RB Tony Temple(i'm from Missouri as you see and got to watch him play in most of their games and love the way he brings it every game!) #22 Tony Temple Born: September 13, 1985 Hometown: Kansas City, MO Height: 5-9 Weight: 200 lbs. Aston
I'm a Penn State fan, so Dan Conner was probably my favorite player from last year. Dude is like Paul Pozluzney 2.0.

bulldog
In an ideal world I would like to see the Redskins end up with Albert or Williams in round 1 whether at #21 or by moving up. I think both players have the capability of coming in and playing minutes in 2008 for the team, these are not guys you have to 'develop' for 2-3 years. Then after that I would be hoping to see DL and WR addressed.

DallasSucks19922010
I'm all for LB Vince Hall from VT in the 5th round, went to high school with him and would love to see him in burgundy and gold. I was hoping for Vince myself but hes not going to the NFL. Did you personally know Vince? Well maybe the skins will steal DE Chris Ellis in the 3rd. My personal favorite player from last year was Chris Long but it wont happen unless Miami wants to trade the 1st overall for the 21st.
cphil006
of all time? Sammy Baugh. But, since he isn;t available in the 2008 draft... not sure, but I'd be happy with: Sweed, Branden Albert, DRC... trading down... Lawrence Jackson... etc.

TheREALJBird
Calais Campbell, everybody is going to sleep on him but he'll show an immediate impact. One other, not a personal favorite, but getting Zack Bowman in the later rounds would be a steal
JRAB
On defense: DB Brandon Flowers, VA Tech. Guy will be a great DB and I really hope that, if we don't draft him, he doesn't go to an NFC East team. Particularly Dallas. His only real negative is speed. He'll knock the **** out of you and has great instincts. On offense: WR Dexter Jackson, App. St. He will be a great WR for somebody in about round 3. He's similar to Moss, so I don't see us taking him... but he'll be a thorn in our side if he goes to an NFC East team, IMO.
[[ghost]]
Limas Sweed or Branden Albert would be ideal in the 1st round. Although I would really like us to land Colt Brennan, Tommy Blake, and Andrew Crummey in the later rounds. All have allstar potential, with very little risk. Brennan is falling badly, but could be transformed into a good QB here. Plus, I won't forget him honoring ST the way he did. Blake could have been a top 10 pick if the draft was held in October, but his issues have hurt him. Crummey has been unable to practice lately, and we could use the depth on the line. He's a player taht could have gone as high as a late 3rd, and we could potentially get him in the 7th round. Good deal, really.

Well maybe the skins will steal DE Chris Ellis in the 3rd. My personal favorite player from last year was Chris Long but it wont happen unless Miami wants to trade the 1st overall for the 21st. Yeah I know Vince, he was a year ahead of me in high school. What do you mean Vince isn't going to the NFL? Last time I checked he was, and he's being projected as going in the 5th round. I would love for the Skins to take him, he would be a steal in the 5th, but he's an MLB and we already have Fletcher and then drafted Blades last year. zoony
WR Marcus Monk, Arkansas. I think he could be a mid round steal.
Forehead
I'm a Penn State fan, so Dan Conner was probably my favorite player from last year. Dude is like Paul Pozluzney 2.0. Seconded on all counts as I'm also a huge PSU guy. Poz has a better head on his shoulders, other than that they're identical players. Connor would be awesome in B&G. Justin King wouldn't be so bad either.
