doncherry
There has been a discussion about this in the ATN forum. Just wondering about what the stadium dwellers here thought.

Rocket442Olds
I think that's pretty Obvious, and I'm not sure why you'd waste your time asking the question.
ChiefPowhatan17
Ware is better, he is younger and faster. Carter is good, but he's got alot more age on him.
Warpath11
no doubt about it, Ware is a far superior player in every facet of the game.
Smoot Point Really
Ware plays a different position... You still have to take Ware.

nimblehippo
I rate and value Carter, but Ware anyday
terpskins10
Anyone not looking through Burgundy and Gold sunglasses knows that it's easily Demarcus Ware. They may play different positions, but because Dallas runs a 3-4, Ware and Carter share many of the same responsibilities. It can even be argued that Ware has more responsibilities (and excels at them all) because he has to drop back into coverage more than Carter. [[ghost]]
Ware is an OLB, not DE, so their duties differ. I think its safe to say that Ware is, at least, above average in coverage. Whereas Carter is at best below average in run support. Ware is better at Pass rush, so he's better all around.
missionwild_10
Ware, they arent even in the same ball park
Blackest Eyes
Ware is an absolute monster. I like Carter but Ware is just...wow.
Weganator
Ware is a monster... thats the only way to put it...
kuraitengai
well, looks like i drafted well in the ES FF dynasty then. since i have BOTH ware and carter... and yeah. ware is the better all around player as much as it pains me to say.
cphil006
Demarcus Ware plays an OLB in a 3-4, so he'd be better than Carter at that position... kind of a loaded question.
BigMike619
I cant even be homer enough to say Carter...
Brandon Lloyd Christmas
ware, anyone who claims otherwise is just a homer. although they play different positions, so its tough to compare. but the numbers dont lie.
jnhay
Ware is better, he is younger and faster. Carter is good, but he's got alot more age on him. Carter's only 3 years older though.
rm8899
Sad to say that i go with the majority of the ESers in saying Ware is much more of a worry to an Offense than Carter. In view of the fact that Ware is used all over the place because of Dallas D, thus making him more dynamic player. Carter pretty much refused to play at LB, hence we picked him up from SF. But Carter has definitely come around IMO. I dislike bringing up ST, but it's like comparing Roy Williams to Sean. Sean had that presence that struck fear in the opponent that I feel IMO Roy just doesn't have. Opposing teams had to set a game plan just for a player like ST and it's sorta the same with Ware. you have to know where he is. I also feel Ware is the best player on the pukes Defense. Zen-like Todd
Ware by a significant margin, but Carter is a solid pass rushing defensive end who if anything is underrated by skins fans. The guy did rack up double digit sacks this year without any other pass rushing threats on the defensive line.
jnhay
I dislike bringing up ST, but it's like comparing Roy Williams to Sean. I see your point, but the gap isn't that huge.
Jumbo
Carter has turning out to be a worthy pick up and a is very good player and a good locker room guy. :applause: :point2sky It's a fair bet the he may still even improve a bit. Nevertheless, Ware is a definite step higher talent, younger, and more flexible. Ware clearly wins if I had to take one or the other to be on a team. Damn it. I prefer Dallas to have little talent at any position.
skinsn24
Carter struggled as on OLB in the 3-4 in SF. Ware excels. Ware also can drop a hand down when dallas does add a 4th lineman. Carter has been a good pickup for the skins, no doubt, but Ware is an all pro.
StillUnknown
this shouldn't even be a discussion, Ware is easily the better player
