Johnny White Guy
This makes me a little nauseous because Sean even said "We Want Dallas" The worse side of this would be if Roy Williams was someone speaking out against Sean Taylor like a lot of people have. I personally think he should just wear his own number though.
Laxpunk2006
I think it's a nice gesture. Roy and Sean were good friends after hanging out in Hawaii last year so I have no problem with him doing this. I hope he spoke to the Taylor family and Redskins organization prior to his announcement, as it is a sensitive issue.
madden lot
Wow, a lot of you need to chill the heck out. Roy and Sean were buddies from last pro bowl. Roy was the first guy campaigning for the cowpukes to wear something in honor of Taylor. Seriously, just relax. It's getting ridicolous with you guys. Either someone doesn't honor taylor enough or someone is going too far in honoring Taylor. They were friends, let him do as he likes. Did you personally know Taylor? Probably not. Roy Williams did and Portis did and it was portis' decision to not wear it but since Williams is going as Taylors replacement and because he was Taylor's friend, you aren't in any position to say whether or not he should do it or be allowed to do it.He is honoring Taylor in his own way. Give it a ****ing rest some of you. :applause:
Monkart
I think it's fine, as many have said relax, they were friends. Roy Williams, No horse collaring or getting burnt for TD's while you're wearing that 21!!!
tone_dubbz
Yeah Roy said he was going to do something special for the Taylor family. I think its a good gesture, and Roy knows there is no way that he can ever match up to the same level Sean was at. I think Roy should give the proceeds from the pro-bowl (if the NFC wins) to the ST foundation.

kuraitengai
i dont see a problem with it. its his way of honoring sean. i would hope he would check with the taylor family and other skins to see if they would be opposed to his move. but given the circumstances and how RW respected sean, i doubt they would have a problem with it. but it would be a nice gesture to check with the family and teammates. but no matter what i think about roy the player, roy the man gets some respect for the action. Darc Requiem
Wow, I never thought I'd see the day when a Cowboy player shows more class than Skins' fans. The fact that a player from our arch rival thinks enough of ST to wear is number should be celebrated. It shows that he respected Sean. I hope RW goes out there and levels anyone that crosses his path from the AFC like Sean would have.

They know how much of an impact ST was to us and his teammates. That other teams don't. That's why I think we see idiotic columns from places like Seattle. They are ignorant to our situation and our feelings behind it.
Kevin101
Yes as horrible of a player RW is, hes still one of the classiest guys in the league.

Siven
I think that is very kind idea, but personally I dont want to see anyone wearing #21... if your not Sean Taylor then you are not worthy. Yeah, cause Tomlinson definately isn't worthy.:jerk:
MAX POWER
so instead of retiring #21, let's be happy a cowboy will wear it . ummm, did I miss something ,this can't happen. what an insult to sean!
AzSkinsFan63
IMHO....It's totally meant to honor Sean and when it comes to something as terrible as this tragedy I think it's time to put the rivalry away and respect it for what it is meant to be.. jivelikenice
What a ridiculous thread....He's doing it to honor Sean. Were we offended when the Cowboys had #21 on their helmets?? Same thing...Him and Sean from what I've read became better friends last year in Hawaii so let him honor a friend who he respected.

JCHarpo
Yeah I think when I first saw this my knee jerk reaction was to hate it but after thinking it over its not that big of a deal....however Roy "Collar" Williams will still have my hatred in a purely platonic way

#21Taylor4Ever
This just shows us how much ST was respected and loved. Even through a rivalry as great as Skins V. Cowboys, Roy Williams wants to continue this man's legacy by wearing #21 in the Pro Bowl game.

CRobi21
First you guys cry about him taking Seans spot as a starter, now you cry again when the man tries to honor him, his family and us fans. Goodness.
jobedoza
His heart is there, so I'm for this even if many people on this board aren't. As much as you don't like I guy, you can't berate him for trying to honor someone.
