Tastes Like Chicken
it's true what many said, seeing the '21' on the helmets brought it to an even higher level of reality for me.

ravenson
hey guys just a short note to say how impressed I was about the pre-game at the Cowboys game..... They asked for a moment of silence in honour of Sean and the place went silent..60K people...and you could have heard a pin drop, I was surprised and happy to see the respect shown to Sean. That and the amount of players wearing 21 on their helmets....got to me again. Very Classy, I'll have to hold off on my Cowboy comments for the rest of the season Hail :applause:

Reic
It sure did sound like that to me too, but I am not sure if they didn't just mute the sound either to add to it, my roomates thought they did. If they didn't kudos to all those fans, I really felt that silence, it was an awesome feeling.
Chris0894
raven is right...it was prolly one of the most quiet "moment of silence" i've ever heard in a major contact sport like the NFL
d0ublestr0ker0ll
The segment they had before the game on 980 was simply great. If anyone has that audio clip it'd be amazing. The moment of silence was great, then they all roared which was cool. Could have been a little longer of a silent moment, but we'll see that on Sunday. desioreo87
When they did that it sounded like it was muted but you heard some faint sounds so i was really quite touched that they would do that. Well done cowboys and fans. You guys did that.

Skinsfan_70
i'm glad that the NFL is honoring ST with the 21 decals -- pangs of sadness in seeing them, but it was a great gesture.
SeattleSkinsFan
I tuned in too late for that. But when T.O. had that weird bobble in the end zone that turned into a pick -- I sat there, nodded my head, and said, "That was Sean."

RenegadeTK
i agree..... it was great to see the cowboy faithful show respect to sean.... id say one of the greatest accomplishments one can achieve is to gain the respect of your 'enemy' or 'foe'

I also thought at first that they muted the sound, but at the end some people could be heard, and I was amazed. I wouldn't be surprised to see Roy Williams continue to wear the #21 sticker on his helmet. If the NFL wants to fine him, I don't think that would affect his decision. He would gladly pay the fine to keep paying his respects.

royallypwned
in an interview he said he will wear it the rest of the season He doesn't have the most talent, but he is the most generous and classy player on the team, as well as really soft-spoken. Good job, RW.
borninblood
I teared up when i heard the news that Sean had passed, but when that stadium went silent and I saw Dallas players praying during the moment of silence I lost it.....
