See this is what happens when you are watching tv and someone say the skins are going somewhere this year. So tend to forget that quiet is no longer quiet and now can be referred as quite!!! What happened? new offense, injuries, new players who didn't gel, etc. I believe we have the talent to get to the NFC championship game as Portis predicted, I think what is more important than talent is how you use what talent you have. These guys are just as partial as we are in some respects since Gibbs spent 11 or 12 years whoopin' up on them back in the day. I'm generally optimistic and see that he could be correct if we make some improvements, but anytime a Mora or Parcells or Ditka defends Gibbs, they could just be paying respect to one of their own. Siven Posted June 6, 2007 Share Posted June 6, 2007 completely agree with that. you missed a healthy portis/betts duo. its good to hear something positive from the media as opposed to everyone tryin s*** on us yup, couldn't agree more, a healthy, one two punch of Portis and Betts will help Jason Campbell progress quite well. The thing that really helped Jason progress, is that the kid's protection was amazing. In 7 games started, he got sacked only 7 times, that speaks volumes about 3 things The linemen did an excellent job Jason Campbell was smart while in and out of the pocket Jason Campbell can take a hit and stay up and aware.
