JeffSchmeff
Did anyone else see that they confirmed the legends that are going to be in this game? I think this game is going to chew Madden up. I haven't found a straight list of players, but I noticed Mark Rypien, Gary Clark, Dexter Manley, Joe Jacoby on the list so far. Check it out: http://www.2ksports.com/games/football2k8/ They have pictures of some of the legends:

Fan since a Fetus
Awesome I cannot wait!! It also has Russ Grimm and Ricky Sanders. The site also plays Rush (although a crappy mix) which is cool IMO.

HEavyJumbo85
Dang I wish they had Bostic, May, Raleigh, or big George Starke, so that we could reunite the Hogs. Lachey, Grimm, and Jacoby aren't bad though. It would've been sweet to have Darrell Green too. I'm definitley going to have to pick this game up, this is a sweet idea, I hope it pans out. cyfar
Imagine preparing a precision squad of mercenaries—even building your own players. I guess that that the negative feedback they got when they initially said that they weren't going to include a create a player feature really got through to 2K. Heidenreich
Comes out 8/14, the same day as Madden. Hopefully 2K will have fixed the random "game freeze" on the 360 by then. NHL, NBA, & MLB have all done that on me.
Spaceman Spiff
How much is this game gonna retail for? I know they were trying to give it away at 20 bucks for the last few years they had the NFL license. Very tempting, indeed. If it's 20-30 bucks, I'll spring. Damn, just saw its for 60. 120 bucks is a lot to drop for two football games. Ah well. ****it.

Whats this awesome game engine? it uses (i think) the endorphin engine (might be euphoria). the takling and stuff are no longer scripted tackles. i saw a video showing how it works, but i can't seem to find it. So...its like a better physics engine for tackling and stuff? You're not gonna see the same tackles over and over again like you do in Madden?
