If it's still like it was when I went there, there's probably already been a dozen or so protests and a good chunk of the faculty is making their best effort to do away with all sports programs. What if one of the students said something that lent credence to the 'slurs?' I've known plenty in both high school and college that probably merited an ass-whooping for what they said. It wouldn't be 'ethnic intimidation.' Or, it could be a personal vendetta where people say the most hurtful thing they can possibly come up with. Don't know what's true at this point. A group of muslim students were apparently celebrating the attacks on campus grounds. A beat down in this case would have been justified IMO - Actions have consequences - morons everywhere should let this sink in.
