Maybe Philly is enjoyable because I got to listen to them talk about the collapse of both the Phillies and Eagles!

Crazy valuations are pretty common in the market. Don't you remember the gamestop and AMC era? Even if the share price loses 75 percent and he nets a cool billion. He's going to make more on this than all the lawsuits cost. This will go down as a greater money making scam than the rest of his. Waiting for foreign investors to buy stock?

You really think that is the case? Like TCU was legit "one of the best" and not just a "resume" last year? Or Cincinnati has ever been one of the 4 best teams in the country? Why do people talk about school legacy so much? Who cares what a particular team did or didn't do in previous years?

I just mean meaningless to the players and even the individual team. All that loot goes to conferences. It's obvious that many of the players aren't concerned about winning even a prominent bowl. We'll see what the expanded playoffs look like next year

That's true. But that money gets sent to the conference and shared with all the teams. And pales in comparison to the TV money anyway. Bowls have turned in to a contest of which team has more of their 2 deep chart playing. Can you imagine an October match up between Ohio St and Missouri where Ohio St was getting 11 and the game total was 17? Who wouldn't load up on that?

Man, Bowl season has turned in to the 3rd preseason game. Between opt outs, and portal comings and goings you can't really make an intelligent assessment of this season or next
