gibbs_deciple
wondering how much Vincents knowledge and expirience from being on the Eagles will help our defense against McNabb and company?
DWinzit
His superior cover skills compared to other safeties alone will be key to a Redskin victory! Certainly knowledge of their tendencies won't hurt.

His cover skills are what I am most happy about also.I was just looking at that damn pass to Witten again from last weeks game and... ...Archuleta...I don't even want to get into it. fuji869
You never know, how long has it been since Troy plaed for the Eagles?
#98QBKiller
Hopefully. Maybe we could beef Archuleta up to be a linebacker since he's so good at stopping the run and blitzing and doing LB stuff? :whoknows:
santana_4_prez
He last played for philly in 2003...so he might know something.
DeMarco Murray 29
He could have some advantage on what they like to do. But It's probably changed alot. I mean the WR's when Vincent played Philly was Pinkston, Mitchell, Thrash, Lewis. Only one guy remains. Now playing with B-Dawk, Brown, Shepp before he could help the WR's out by knowing what they do. But if the Skins play their game, I am fairly confident they should walk out with a W. Who do you think best helps Dallas by winning? Maybe, I should re-phrase that, who would help your boys out best by losing?

Certainly knowledge of their tendencies won't hurt. I wouldn't call his cover skills superior. You know, it was Vincent that got burned by T.O. Luckily he dropped it, or we'd all be calling for Vincent's head.

WideReceiver25
I would think Vincent would know the tendencies of Philly and could help the Redskins greatly. Vincent is going home afterall.
seanyt
Well whatever his insight is will probably only help him. I couldn't see Gibbs extracting info. out of him to get an edge on the opponent, Unlike what A. Pierce, and Hasselbeck did for Coughlin and the Giants... dcsmooth
With Vincent in the game, you don't have to worry about a tight end beating us down the middle of the field like some have beaten Archuletta. Go Vincent HTTR!
stwasm
I didn't think about that. But, it could be something to think about come Sunday. Stay tuned, boys and girls!

GSF
The Redskins and Eagles know each other very well, and a player like Vincent that once played for the other team doesn't really bring any inside info. Having said that, Vincent practiced against McNabb for several seasons, and you would have to think that his instincts against the Eagles offense would be very good. It wouldn't be surprising to see Vincent come up with a big play by instinctually being in the right place at the right time. I also think he'll be a big help getting players like Taylor and Marshall in the right place.

InsaneBoost
ESPN radio predicts 3 picks during the game by Vincent. Lets say it goes through!
skinsmania123
There will be NO insight. I mean the whole coaching staff and schemes have changed since he left...BUT we all know they throw 60% of the time..so we either cover well or die. So with AA out I am slightly more confident, but don't hold your breath here. They are tough at home. We will see soon enough.
McMVP
I love Vincent....but he won't have that much knowledge of AR's offense. It's not like the Eagles haven't added anything in the last 3 years.
Peregrine
Wont help one bit. If NFL teams were so unchanging, so that a former player could help after not being with the team for 3 full seasons, then they would find themselves at the bottom of the league.
