gca61087 Posted November 6, 2006 Share Posted November 6, 2006 turning point. instead of admitting to defeat, which at 2-5 facing a short FG and another loss we easily could have done, the block team made a play and saved the day, maybe the season. hopefully we continue to play with the same back-to-the-wall mentality as last year and get to the playoffs. we saw it against dallas, and it needs to continue next week against a rested philly team. In the beginning of the season the Giants were not looking too good and that one lucky play against the Eagles has turned their season around. Hail! I can think of at least three games where we all but clinched victory, only to see it slip through our fingers by some dumb stroke of luck.
