I always thought it was a cutting board, but who would cut anything on a piece of granite? I've accidentally laid frozen meat on it just for no other reason as to put it down and do something. It thaws food out like nothing I have ever seen. I put 2 pieces of frozen fish on there yesterday and like 5 minutes later they were completely thawed. You ever heard of this? Absolutely. I've never heard of using a slab of granite, but I've heard of that method of defrosting. Kind of like sticking your hand in snow. The snow absorbs the warmth in your hand pretty quickly. Here, the meat absorbs the warmth of the granite. I have a big heavy flat aluminum griddle which is what I use to defrost. Works great. Are apt dwellers more likely to steal someone's mail? Do apt dwellers get more exciting stuff in the mail that's worth stealing? Power balls and extras and tons of other ****. I played the Lotto on Wednesday and got two numbers, but they said the extra "whatever" was number 3, and I have that. Do you get any money for that?
