Jimi Hendrix (I've seen so many people butcher Voodoo Child it's not even funny, it's just such a hard song and nobody could play it like him.) 2. Eddie Van Halen (Maybe just personal preference but he's really underrated, some of the best guitar play I've ever heard.) 3. Jimmy Page 4. Eric Clapton (Not a big fan of his stuff but he's definitely one of the best.) 5. Kirk Hammett (He's often criticized for using the wah wah pedal too much but he's made some of the best guitar on stuff like Master Of Puppets, The Thing That Should Not Be, Battery, etc.) Honorable mention: Dimebag Darrell, Stevie Ray Vaughn.
