Not to take anything away from Portis, but I believe our MVP is Moss, because I feel if we didn't have Moss our running game wouldn't have opened up the way it did the last half of the year.

BTW, Portis has had 1500 yard seasons in 3 of his 4 years in the league. Now that is amazing.

Moss has been explosive and very special, but, our MVP is Portis. Portis is the reason we are among the league best in time of possession and running the football and a big reason Moss can do what Moss can do. Portis was good last year. He's absolutely special this year. He's taking it on himself and carrying this team.

If we can keep everyone on offense for the next few years, which we should, and add a solid #2 reciever, then this offense could become one of the most explosive in the league...

If it hasn't already - 100+ points in the last three games

Is there really any better situation for a young quarterback in Jason Campbell to step up into?

MVP? Portis and Moss. Neither has done more then the other. Moss opens up the run for Portis by demanding a double team. Portis allows the passing game to work more effectively by keeping the DL honest and forcing the DB to peek into the backfield. They've both set new team records. Both eclipsed 1500 yards. Both proven their critics wrong.

Remove one and the other wouldn't have done as well.

The funny thing is that Denver fans seemed to think Portis was soft and were supposedly glad to be rid of him. What I've seen is one of the toughest RB's around whose dedication to the team has him sticking his shoulders into blocks as much as he lowers his shoulders to fall forward with the ball. He's right now a complete back the way that Emmitt Smith and Marshall Faulk were complete backs in their primes. He's been an awesome, awesome addition for us.

It doesn't seem physically possible for him to move piles the way he does - but move they do.

He's gotten his feet under him, too. Remember at the beginning of the year when he seemed to stumble forward sometimes? Almost like his body wouldn't wait for his feet to catch up?

He's amazing - and the O line gets props as well. :applause:

You are absolutely correct. Football is the ultimate team sport. Portis and Santana work very well together. We are blessed to have them!

I wonder if people still think we messed up for getting something for champ?

Portis has heart that Champ could only dream of having. No question he is the MVP of this team in my mind. He put the whole team on his shoulders. Now it sure would be nice to have Champ on Saturday with how banged up our secondary is...but not if it means giving up Clinton!

Nice job, Clinton. You are our leader and inspire us all! :applause:
