Lombardi's_kid_brother
It seems rather early in the year to be talking this way, but everyone has up their playoff formulas, and six losses seems to be the most acceptable amount. I would think that being 5-5 and forced to go 5-1 down the stretch just to have a chance is not acceptable under any of these formulas. So, we have to beat Norvell and company....who can't do much but can throw the pill downfield with Moss and Porter. So...must win or not?
SkinsNeverDie
It is not a must win...we can win the next 5-6 if we lose this one...but we would be in a hole if we lose.
Warhead36
Yes it's a must win. Coming off a tough loss on the road to fall to 5-4. A loss here and our playoff hopes are done.

Jimbo
You simply CAN'T lose at home after losing a winnable game on the road and expect to be a playoff team. The remaining home games are must wins, as are two of the three remaining road games.
fdarugar
Every game from this point on is a must win. So, hell yes this is a must win. **edit: 1,000 posts, and Patrick Ramsey is the starter? What the deal?

You can't go on the road and lose a one-point game to a 5-3 team, then come home and lose to a losing team. Hell yeah its a must win game.
The Guru
Yes. We can't afford to lose to a below average team in our own stadium. At this point of the year, you need all the wins you can get.

skinsfan93
It's only a must win in the eyes of us fans because we want this team to win so bad and it would be hard to be optimistic for many of us if we fell to .500. It's not a win from a record standpoint.
slackermike
Every game is a must win. Why would you go into a game not thinking you need to win that game? I've never understood while people say "Is such and such game a must win." Well, yes. They all are.

The teams in our division are good, and it would be tough to challenge for the division crown with a loss to Oakland. Our wild card hopes would take a hit too now that we've dropped a game behind TB, and Atlanta having a better record than us.

FunBunch7
With LT. and the Chargers coming to town the week after, I think it is a must win...but it is also a "should win"!
we_want_56
Without a doubt in my mind. Thank God we're in Fed Ex for the next 2. With the 12th man behind us the intensity raises to another level.

TD_washingtonredskins
If we can scrape out a win vs. Oakland we'll set up yet another potential season-defining game vs. SD. It'll be the type of game we've failed to win (@NY and vs. TB) this year so far. But back-to-back home wins vs. dangerous teams could go a long way toward helping us get where we want to go. I remember in August I said that I wanted our team to be playing meaningful games in November and December...now I want more, I want to win a couple of them!!! MONTEY
With LT. and the Chargers coming to town the week after, I think it is a must win...but it is also a "should win"! Right. Should win is correct. If we just happen to lose to the Raiders then lose to the Chargers Its over as far as us being in the post season. Dont see us losing to the Raiders. Trying to keep the faith but It's so hard. :helmet:
SamSneed36
it is absolutly a must win. Its a very winnable game and I doubt we sweep the division in our last three games, even with two of them at home. Can our D stop the Rams air attack? HAHAHA i doubt it. I dont think we have a chance against the Rams playing in their dome. If we dont beat Oakland at home, our chances of breaking 8-8 are poor
BraveWarrior
Our division will probably be won by only one or two games at the most. It's too close a race to allow the Raiders to come in and beat us. It would be a serious blow to our chances to win the East.
dfbovey
The Redskins can only afford to lose two more games the rest of the season. Every game is a must win.
