I didn't see the game due to work but so far I haven't been upset I'm missing games this year. Watching the highlights, I guess the D played as well as it could especially in the 2nd half idk if that translates to next time we meet em. Its just rough watching Jax rookie 1st rounder go off on us, then Hutchinson goes for 3 sacks, now Philly with 9 today but watching a lot of those sacks I felt was on Carson but maybe guys weren't getting open.. Maybe that's what our Dline would look like if we had a secondary. And all I keep hearing in tweets and PFF etc is our Dline wins 60% of their 1 v 1's which is upper echelon in the NFL yet it translates to nothing on the field.. We don't have days like Philly had today.. Jamin looks like he had a day.. This division looks like Phillies to lose and I guess we'll be battling out with Dallas for cellar dweller. which will mean changes are gonna have to happen if even with the team mostly healthy we're no better than Dallas without their QB.. That's beyond depressing.. But who knows maybe things will be different by the end of October..

Hutchinson has already had the kinda game we haven't seen from CY in a year and half. In one game he's half way caught up to him in sacks.. But I will say Wentz gave him one of those sacks.. I mean listen, they addressed their offensive needs this past offseason, with the return of Samuel its clear this offense is legit.. Its only gonna get scarier once Robinson comes back and we include Bates and Turner.. LB and corner needs to get addressed this offseason, and if you can find a legit safety get one..Lions clearly showed last week wasn't a fluke..

Dude Gibson had himself a day. Discount Deebo Samuels.. I love the way we are using him and this how I think many of us wanted to see him used.. Think of the problems he will bring to defenses if he's continually used this way.. He will open up so much for everyone else.. I didn't get to see the game but watched highlights.. Its gonna be fun watching this offense grow with Wentz.. I will say if Carson isn't getting rid of the ball in rhythm you can feel the panic in him but he had himself a good day today.. HTTR

In light of Brian returning to the team after his recent event. It was shed to light the fact he maintained his RB duties and brought Oreo cookies to the facility for his team. This gesture reigns beyond expectation for all of us when it comes to his situation and his focus, the fact he is thinking of others rather than himself.. Is there anything we can do as fans to turn a negative as gun violence and turn it into a positive like Oreo cookies??? Guns for Cookies?? IDK I hope it set some sort of a foundation which can lead to a trend in DC, hell even society. Because the more I think of this incident, the more I think of you know where I'm going with this....

The hell you waiting on Nabisco for?? Our promotions team needs to have a full fledged Oreo promotion campaign ready to execute in some form of fashion the week he returns.. The fact he maintained his RB duties after BEING SHOT multiple times and STILL brought those cookies in like " yea I got shot but I still brought my cookies in.!! He's on a crash course to ST, Scary Terry territory in terms of certain recent reputation...Not trying to knock other players who've earned their respective reps..

People have been showing clips of why he went at #19. You can't teach his speed, you can teach a good majority of the other factors to become a better LB. He had his ups and downs.. Parsons had a rare rookie season. But now teams know what he's good at and will gameplan around countering that.. With Jamin, add some experience and knowledge and who knows what his true strengths are.. I will be patient and wait n see with him...

For me, what I'm most interested in for camp: DE depth: Whose going to fill in for Chase while he recovers. Smith Williams, Toohill, Obada, Toney, Bradley "Martin Luther The" King. I wanna see how Toney has progressed, ever since his game vs Seattle where he showed he could chase down Russell Wilson on multiple occasions, I wanted to see more of him. I know he's more of a pass rush specialist but still. Oline: Whose going where, what combination is gonna work best for us. Which young guys are gonna step up, Charles, Cosmi, Ismael. How good is our depth, which I believed was pretty good last year.. Brian Robinson: Can't wait to see this kid.. TE: This is gonna be fun to watch on the backend.. Between Turner, the project in Reyes, the reinvented Gandy Golden, Rogers and the hyped Hodges. Who in this group is gonna push for playing time behind Bates and Thomas who I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't start the season on the active roster.. I think the advantage goes to Turner but I like the way Hodges and Rogers looks on the field, both very smooth. I think Reyes is on the outside being a project and Gandy Golden could earn some looks elsewhere cause he has the hands, but experience is against him at that position and who knows how his blocking is.. Sam Howell: We all know the story about his senior season and his struggles without his weapons. But he was awesome when he had em the years prior. Lets see what he could do in the preseason.. If he shows glimpses talk about exciting. I love this tape during his freshman year vs Clemson when they were still in their prime. WR: I figure everyone else is gonna watch Dotson for me but I wanna see what happens between Sims, Milne, Ezzard and Brown. Safety: Definitely curious about the new kid Butler and how Forrest has progressed going into his second season.. Cole Kelly: Watched some film on the kid, good god he's tall, I would say underwhelming athleticism but he does has some.. I didn't see a huge arm but I didn't see a kid who could get nervous in the pocket. He will be interesting to see, is he a camp arm???

Anyone who had to block LT as many times as he had and did as good of a job as he did should be in...

If Gibbs was our coach he probably would have drafted this kid and saw a better version of Rypien calling him a " Super Smart, real intelligent guy who can throw the deep ball"

Not gonna be too harsh on our draft so far. Am I super excited? No, but I've been excited about past drafts and those classes don't turn out. I don't remember having any kind of reaction when we drafted McClaurin. I dig the DT's energy and we did need to address depth there, with Dotson, its easy to get stuck on the name and not the kid so just wait.. We still have 5 picks maybe more, maybe less. I think in the end we'll pull off a good draft and most of our needs will be met and I bet we get a QB too..

Dig the pick. Dude is gonna take Gibson's job and we'll find better uses for Antonio..

Wouldn't the pick make even less sense if we had Settle and Ioannidis?? I mean its not the area most of us wanted to see addressed especially here so early but its not like it wasn't a sort of a need given who knows what will happen with Payne and the fact we lost all our depth.. But lets face it, we've spent so much draft capital and high capital on the Dline and we still gave up the 2nd most points in franchise history.. I always was of the belief a good Dline makes the backend better but this defense proved me hella wrong. But hey, what I'm thinkin happened is they guys they wanted were taken, so they went with the highest on their board available and need and he must have been up there..

So we let Ioannidis walk to Carolina, he was a 5th round pick in '16 ranked 38th in PFF as interior linesman IN LIMITED WORK this year. Feels like we're gonna try to keep Payne drafted in '18 yet he's only ranked 32nd on PFF but a 1st rounder....I feel Payne is probably gonna cost hella more vs Matt and, you figure it out... I'm going outside, I need fresh air..

That game is on YT Few problems??? Rypien had 4 turnover by himself that game and none of them had to do with Philly's defense.. Watch the tape... Philly had a QB picked off the street two weeks prior to help mitigate the Cunningham injury, course he wasn't gonna do much.... In this game we got sample of the '91 and the '92 Rypien in this game...

Is there even a relationship with the Native American community anymore with the name change? Given it was a bad one now it feels like they don't have keys to this franchise anymore and they can live in anonymity in the football world.. At least in the NFC.
