They always play us tough in the Daniel Jones era. No clue how we haven't T'd up on that offense yet. They gave up just 3 sacks vs Buffalo and didn't turn the ball over, the don't look like the team that got destroyed by Dallas and Seattle and they seem angry. Or it could have been a case of Daboll knowing Buffalo.. We really didn't put Atlanta away like we should have, we always talk about the D not being able to pin their ears back and get the QB because we usually play from behind. It was the kinda turnover game this D needed. However, when you see what Cleveland is doing this season, and the Jets, especially today with both their CB's out you're like Dam we should be in that conversation. Hell we've been building this D longer than those two teams combined... Cleveland is doing something with yards given up per game that hasn't been seen since Unitas was playing. They have a Super Bowl defense.

On the 2nd touchdown to Brown what was the defense we called? It looked like cover 0 cause we had birds on a fence, but then we didn't bring any pressure. Kam Curl comes up to cover the TE but he's already double covered. There was some serious comm, issues on that play. We all saw Manny's face after that play. Someone else screwed up on that play not just him.

Did we all forget how horrible Trevon Diggs looked his rookie year in Dallas?? McClaurin burning him on multiple occasions. By his second season he near the top of the league in picks. Still giving up big plays but you saw him improving, and now he's one of the best in the league, giving up fewer plays to the point the ball wasn't going his way. Let the kid make some mistakes, you could see after the 2nd Brown TD how upset he was, he cares. He'll grow.. Lets no write him off..

Great win, Sam looked crazy confident out there. Running game is getting better but I would like see more creative ways of running with Gibson. Bring on Buffalo. Arizona's defense didn't get the memo they were tanking but they aren't gonna get the credit they deserve. I'm not sure how happy I am about this win, I remember in '09 when we beat the hapless Rams 9-7 who turned out to be a 1 win team, go figure what happened to us the rest of the year. The run game looked pretty unimaginative, I felt we threw way too much. Howell can extend plays but man he took some shots out there today, didn't look as fast as I thought he was.. Overall we'll see when it comes to him.. Defensively not sure how to feel vs an offense whose QB, yes he know the system but, was signed a couple weeks ago. I'd prefer we'd done to the Cardinals what they did to us. I mean 6 sacks from guys who've barely started in this league, Most were UDFA. That's straight depressing knowing what we invested in our front, and how they built theirs outta spare parts, FEMA donations, duck tape and flex seal. Kam Curl was everywhere. Now maybe Sean wasn't asked to do what Kam is being asked but I don't remember Sean making as many consistent plays near the LOS as Kam does.. Logan Thomas looked like Kadarius Toney out there, hadn't played in the preseason and it showed today. EDIT: I didn't realize he had 4 catches for 40 something yards. NM I take it back. Fair enough, he's not gonna be ST out there. But the secondary guys who were making plays; Holmes, Butler and Johnson, they all have tons more experience than him. Hopefully he grows from this..
