So are we getting Quinn back this week? I know its not related but aren't we getting back Byron Marshall as well? Any news on Cam Simms? I know he needed surgery for his ankle but is he just done for the year?

He's on IR and can return 8 weeks after designation if he's ready..So I believe week 9 is the earliest we could see him..

Charles Davis saying Doctson " Grew up Today" with his 3 for 20 stat line.. I don't know, I don't think any fan of any team would get excited about their 3rd year first round WR whose on pace to break the 200 receiving yard season putting up that stat line..

So what do you call it when we had Garcon, DJax and Crowder and almost all 3 of them going for 1,000 yards a piece a couple years ago?? I'm guessing Gruden had nothing to do with that right??

That was as TD and Smith waited 30 years to throw the ball and then "meh''d it..Im trying to remember when I saw such a bad pass. Kirk had a couple of bad picks but I never saw one where he had a guy so open and then not only did he fail to pull the trigger on time but then threw it no one near the receivers vicinity.. BTW about this week, who the hell is gonna start at receiver??? PRich has ANOTHER injury, Crowder has an ankle issue, I guess Doctson will play ( whoopie) I know Floyd isn't ready Harris is idk and Quick is just there..

Richardson is good for like a couple catches before he gets hurt. He's the only one we can make any kind of big play..Other than that this is looking like our least productive receiving corps since the '93 team..And they were crazy bad...

I really with I could be in the film room and see whats going on with Docton, are teams THAT worried about him they take him out of the game and it leaves things open for others, is he getting open and Smith just isn't finding him. Is he screwing up routes and losing the trust of coaches and Smith. Is it just he can't beat anyone unless its a 50/50 jump ball..I mean he doesn't catch those comeback out routes like Henry Ellard, he doesn't catch deep slant or stop routes. He'll catch an occasional short slant that gets no YAC or deep bomb..Is dude in the end a 1 trick pony??

Yea Richardson apparently can't stay healthy. Doctson is our new Michael Westbrook, and Crowder needs other guys to look good.

My money is on Kidsy..

I'm kinda concerned with the fact that we lost both Sims and Quinn to ankle injuries and both look real bad.. We kind lost our depth in week 1..

Well hang on, since we don't have Guice that might allow us to keep an extra reciever. I think we'd need a quick for veteran experience..

Simms has definitely shown me more in 2 preseason games than Robert Davis has shown me in 1 year. He's still a work in progress but the fact that earned the confidence in both his QB's despite his drop in the 2nd quarter and was forced out in the 4th on the game winning drive when his day was done to make that clutch catch to set up the GWFG showed me the coaches liked what they saw. I don't remember Davis doing that his rookie year.. I do want to see more of Darvin Kidsy, dude has shown some speed and agility. And going back to the NE game when Simms made his 57 yard catch n run. Kidsy got the same separation on his guy its just McCoy went to Simms instead, whether it had to do with which safety reacted to either receiver better I can't tell based on the highlights available. I but I want to see that kid make our decision even that much harder for us. This WR class on late draft picks and URFA is one of the more exciting groups I've seen

Dam that's a lot of money for Richardson.. What's Crowder thinking since he's doing throughout his career, what Richardson did last year? Can we afford Crowder now??

I should have reworded my comment and said 9-6-1 and out of the playoffs. Cause going 3-2 the rest of the way out is very doable.. Arizona on the road, NY at home, not to mention Carolina despite their record aren't getting blown out by anyone...Just about all their games are decided on the final possession.
