I had to go somewhere and didn't watch the 2nd half. I thought for sure that this leg of my bet was a LOCK. Then I saw we had 14 then 21 and was like WTF and looked at stats and saw Howell was out. Then I saw we had the lead and thought Rivera and Jacoby were going to f it all up for me. Thankfully the lost lol.

Yeah the only thing about True Detective was the one scene where they busted into that house and it was like a "no cut" action scene, and then dem tittays. Other than that, the show was awful.

Ah gotcha. I was thinking more along the lines of them doing something on a flight rather than in an airport.

I wonder if someone else on the flight had a ghost gun that those bullets would work with. I'm assuming he didn't because I'd assume they searched the hell out of that dude. But if 1 or 2 or 3 people had the parts for a ghost gun concealed in carry on, that could have been a bad situation.

I'm not betting on the lines. I'm doing strictly prop parlay betting. Prop betting is more dangerous in the playoffs than regular season in my not-so-much experience.

Both of those games last night were fantastic games to watch as a neutral fan of all the teams. It's ironic how sports betting becoming legal in MD last year made me pay attention to the NBA more just because I'm stat tracking. But when I was younger I used to love watching basketball and still love watching the playoffs. But now I'm watching a lot of regular season ball and really enjoying it like I did when I was younger.

Where did you do car rentals from? When I'm in the US I always use costco travel to rent a car and get really good prices. When out of country, I always go with a local (to the country I'm visiting) company and not an American company that is setup over there. I just pop my headphones on and play Switch for a few hours while sipping on some Jack and Cokes. I fly SW a lot and I'd say more than 50% of the time they don't even charge me for the drinks. They just never come back to charge me. You just have to be nice to the staff on board and they will hook you up half the time. I don't really mind flying at all at this point. It was definitely a lot easier and less stressful when I fly without my kids though. We went to Belize a couple weeks ago with the kids and we had to take 3 flights each direction, 1 of them being a tiny puddle jumper. It was fun, but it's just stressful carrying all the **** you need especially with a 3 year old.

I still like the show, but like it when there is variety of who is there. I remember hearing a while back that they are each making $250k/yr from the show. Not too bad for 20 hours of work a week. I don't think any of them prep or anything for the show at this point.

EB and Bishop are the most sheltered people on that show. They have zero clue what goes on outside of their little bubbles. I'd say Bishop can at least listen and is open to trying to understand, but EB is a lost cause. He has been since he became a Covid nutter.

I just find it hilarious the Trumpers using the term "weaponizing the DOJ and FBI" type of crap for political reasons. Yeah, because the DOJ and FBI are doing their job, going after criminals, it's weaponizing them for political reasons.

I liked it but wanted more and thought it was too slow. It starts off strong but then not much really happens and it just kinda slows down a ton. I loved the premise for it though, but again, just wanted to see more of that happen.

Literally did this entry for the first time last Saturday. I've only ever done the giant stride. Thankfully I rolled backwards so I didn't end up in the boat.

I thought this was great lol. Apparently someone in the crowd was making fun of him for standing by the heater on the side line.

I was in Belize last week and at the beach and then randomly at 3:30pm (4:30pm here in MD) I was like "oh snap the game was on today" and looked on my phone, saw we lost 45-15, LOL'd to myself, then went back in the water.

My first leg to Belize last week from BWI to Houston had to make an emergency landing in Little Rock, AK due to medical emergency. That is the first time that has ever happened to me. Thankfully we had a 90 minute layover in Houston so we were still able to (barely) make our connecting flight. I don't know what was wrong with the person but like 30 mins into the flight they asked if any medical person was on board and that person was with the other person for about an hour or so, and then I ran to the bathroom and could feel the plane starting to turn which seemed weird, then when I came out the captain said we were making an emergency landing in AK. The person walked off on their own power with paramedics around so I'm assuming they ended up okay.

It looks exactly as you'd expect GTA to look like in 2025, although I will be surprised if the final product actually does look that good in real time when it comes out. I am not a fan of trailers with zero game play as they do absolutely nothing for me. A lot of trailers in that format usually have some sort of caption like "in game engine" or something similar but noticed there is nothing like that here, so based on that and no game play, I'm skeptical of the graphics being that good in game play. Also pretty underwhelming they are using Vice City again for a whole new game. But it's still just GTA which has the same tired formula to me. I look forward to the hilarious videos people post from the game though. In 2 years that is, if we're lucky lol. I won't be surprised to see it in 2026 at the earliest.
