My first trip ever out of the country was to Aruba in June 2005. My parents were freaking the **** out about me going there a couple weeks after that incident. I cannot reiterate how safe that island is and felt even back then lol. I have now been there 7 times and just returned from there 2 weeks ago. I love that damn island.

The problem with upscaling the N64 games to 4k is the textures are very low quality. The polygons won't be an issue at all and they will look good, But when you have some textures covering the polys, that is where you will see pretty poor graphics.

Yah that doesn't say they won't support it after 25, just that they are currently making games that will come out in 2025. I can see the confusion though.

I totally forgot about that part but I don't recall it being bad or anything. But yes, that adds even more time on the return. Thankfully I've only flown 5x internationally in the past 8 years from there (3 of those being St. Thomas so no need for customs) but the last one was Roatan in 2022. I can't recall customs being anything out of the normal though. EDIT: And I'm not referring to stores to go shopping, but just those "convenience stores" to get some snacks and stuff for the flight. We've only really flown out of there real early in recent times and literally the only thing open is Dunkin Donuts and the line is too long to even get food before we'd board.

Long term parking is absolute garbage. You have to wait at a god damn bus stop for the zig zagging bus to finally come to your stop. Then you to inside and go down the escalator where the security line can literally back up to the escalator which is dangerous as ****. Then you go through security and have to take a ****ing metro car to your terminal. Then you go inside some old ass terminal that is packed and narrow as hell, and the stores are never open when you get there early to get food unless you want to wait in a 100 person line at dunkin donuts. Getting home is even worse because you have to all of that **** again, except you ALSO have to get your bags off the carousel making it take even longer, and then you have to wait again for the bus to come to take you to long term parking in the stupid ass zig zag pattern till it gets to your stop. It just takes way too god damn long. At BWI I arrive at the gate, walk to baggage claim, walk right outside to the bus waiting for me, and it takes me directly to my car. And I don't have to worry about getting on 495 and sitting in traffic at any time of the day on my drive home.

As much as people **** on Southwest for their pick-your-own-seat process, at least they allow 2 checked in bags with the ticket prices. The only thing they charge you for extra are alcoholic drinks. They don't do an of that "upgrade for more legroom" bull**** either. They are by far my favorite airline to fly, at least with our kids which is usually how we travel, since the family boarding makes it so I don't even have to check in. EDIT: Oh and taking advantage of their credit cards for the past 15 or so years to probably save $50k on flights also has a lot to do with it lol.

Dulles is the worst of the 3 local airports BY FAR. I ****ing hate that place.

The only all inclusive I've ever stayed at was in Costa Rica and I only did it because it was for a wedding there. I wouldn't do it again. It was a Double Tree so not sure what level that would be considered. Food was okay but gets old after a few days. I've never stayed at the Beaches in Turks and Caicos but I've heard great things about it. I've walked by it and it looks pretty awesome. I personally have no interest in all inclusive though as I prefer to rent a car and drive all over the islands I go to, including driving to various restaurants.

Speaking of water parks, we went to De Palm Island when in Aruba a couple weeks ago and they had one of those "the floor drops out from beneath you" water slides and I had never been on one of those. It was pretty fun and super fast but I couldn't really tell wtf was going on because as soon as you drop you have water in your face and I had my eyes closed the entire time until I came out in the little funnel thing to slow down.

I agree on both of those, mainly the breakup though. The "slam" only seemed like it could have been penalized in the slow motion replay. In real time it didn't look nearly as bad. But that pass breakup was really bad lol. We were all saying it should have been PI over here watching the game. And it was a 3rd down too.

I will also say, the picked up flag on Terry Mclaurin's PI call and the no intentional grounding call early in the game, were pretty huge in the grand scheme of things. Those were game changing no calls that lead to a lot of Chicago points.

Same for me, but it's more because I just don't really care as much as I used to. I turned the game off after they Logan Thomas fumble and played some PS5 then watched a show with my wife and couldn't have cared less about the game at that point. In years past I'd be listening to whatever post game show I could and would still be pissed off about it today.

2 things. 1. Every time they showed Ron on the sideline the dude had zero emotion with just a dead stare. It literally looked like it could have been the same clip every one of the 10 times they showed him on the side line. 2. I am done wearing any Commanders gear. I will no longer be wearing jerseys on game day and don't even know if I will wear my hat during the week.

One silver lining for me if there is a shutdown is I won't have to go into the office once a week for meetings because the office will be closed. So it will be fully remote instead of like 10% a week in the office for meetings.

Unless you are flying Spirit or one of the **** airlines, they aren't going to be measuring any "normal" backpack. I always have a fully packed normal sized backpack with an extra laptop slot and a roll on carry on and I've never once had any issues.

FIOS Stan, get it right. I already have Netflix and Disney+, and Prime but that's because I use it for shipping and the streaming stuff is a bonus. And Netflix and Disney+ keep raising their prices and adding nothing new and I'm just tired of this crap. Disney+ is absolute crap too but my kids like it so that's the only reason I'm keeping it. I was thinking of going Disney+/Hulu with ads instead of just Disney+ Premium, but of course you can't download **** unless you have the premium one and when we go on vacation, downloading movies on Disney+ for a 3 and 8 year old is a life saver on 4+ hour flights.

Yeah no ****. It's one of the 30 streaming services that I'm not going to pay for.

Looks solid but too bad it's on yet another stupid ****ing streaming service.

And Doc is on with Russel right now too lol. Doc needs to just get off the airwaves he is so bad. He was also on a segment on the Junkies this morning and it was unbearable. Even the Junkies were like WTF is he talking about? Basically he was just doing his whole "tough football players" schtick he always does.
