  1. LOL @ just building a SCIF. Yeah, because it's just that simple. A SCIF is not something that is just built all willy nilly and done in a week. It just amazes me how every time I think this guy can't do anything dumber, he continuously tops himself almost daily.
  2. It stormed pretty hard here in Rockville for like 30 mins or so but now it's sunny again.
  3. From what you said it sounded like he wanted calls from people who want the name changed but not to Redskins.
  4. I agree with him about not talking about it going back to Redskins. It's simply not happening. It's time to move on from the name. It will never come back. 500k people signing a petition ain't gonna do jack ****.
  5. My buddy's girlfriend's mom stays at this place and he told me about this before I saw anything on the internet about it.
  6. I'll believe it when I hear it from Nintendo directly. There have been rumors of a new switch coming out since like 2019 lol.
  7. I'm 5 episodes into Quarterback on Netflix and holy **** it's awesome! It may be the best football show I've seen. And god damnit, it is really making me wish we had Cousins again. I was a hater when he left just because he left (and I totally would have too) but this show has completely made me turn 180 on him for my irrational hating. I will be rooting for him now as long as the games have no effect on our teams results. And even Mahome's wife isn't nearly as annoying as I would have expected based on just what I've seen about her in articles and on social media. All 3 QBs just seem like super good dudes. Mariota may be the most chilled out person I've ever seen on a football team. Mahomes is just like a big kid out there doing what he loves. Cousins is just a grinder and as we all know, very process oriented. He really does keep all of the noise out as well. His wife and Mariota's wife are probably the most humble people on the show and just seem like regular folk. This is a great way to get pumped up for the season.
  8. Just watched the Freediving documentary on Netflix. I enjoyed it a lot and knew it was dangerous but not to the extent it was. Very interesting and I recommend.
  9. This was the first thing that came to my mind as well and was surprised I didn't see it until the second page.
  10. Yah he gets a lot of time in the documentary. Him and Lazer get the most time of the men.
  11. Oh I watched the American Gladiators documentary on Netflix. I liked it. It's got a huge 90's vibe to it. It was very interesting hearing these guys talk about the show back in the day and the things that happened. It's only 5 episodes and the episodes are like 35-50 mins each so it goes by pretty quick. If you liked the show, chances are you will like the documentary.
  12. I am done with Tears of the Kingdom. I haven't finished it but the game just bores me to death now. I tried playing it a bit on my total of 14 hours of flights in the past couple weeks and every time I played it for like 30 mins and was just done with it. It's just so boring to me. I have completed the 4 main dungeons and am at the boss in Hyrule but just have no desire to keep going. I hadn't played it since my other flights 2 weeks ago and had no desire to play it while I was at home. I had way more fun playing Have a Nice Death for hours on my flights over TotK. Hopefully whatever the next game is they change up the damn formula and it doesn't just feel like a BotW DLC package again.
  13. Watching LOST as it aired was the only way to do it. Half (or more) of the fun was going on the internet after an episode and discussing/reading everything about what everyone thinks is going on. There were huge discussions on forums back in the day about the whole thing with so many different theories. You don't get that if you are just binge watching it after the fact. I was pissed that they flat out said the island was not purgatory after like season 4, then it basically is in the end.
  14. M3gan - 6/10 - was surprised how bad the acting was in the movie considering it was a pretty big budget title, in the sense I remember seeing it being marketed to all hell. It's kind of like a modern day take on Child's Play but not nearly as charming/funny as Chucky was. And it also requires you to just assume AI is at a much higher level than it is at now.
  15. I prefer to see the boxing match, not just a dumb 30 second artsy fartsy CGI clip where they are having a conversation during a boxing match and then all of a sudden it is round 12.
  16. The spoiler you have is one of the dumbest/worst parts of any boxing movie I've ever seen. I hated every part of it and that whole fight was awful and anticlimatic.
  17. Creed 3 - 6/10 - it was entertaining but by far the worst of the 3. It was just kind of a dumb and not believable story. They should stop making these now.
  18. You have to remember that at the end of the game when he's in the hospital trying to save her, it is the climax and last part of a video game where this was taken from. Same with much of the other unrealistic factors you mention. It's like that in the show, because it's like that in the video game.
  19. Unless it is a linear story driven game like The Last of Us or God of War, I prefer games to not have long chunks of videos mixed in. The way GoW and TLOU do it is very seamless too and they aren't typically very long. I loved that Elden Ring had like none. That was one of my favorite parts about it.
  20. Avatar 2 - Way of the Water 10/10 This movie is just incredible. I was a fan of the first one and this movie is basically more of the same with way more outstanding visuals. Yes the story is about as cookie cutter as you can get, and if you saw the first one, it is basically along those same lines, so nothing ground breaking and very pedestrian, but the whole package with the visuals and sound is what puts it over the top. As a huge fan of the ocean and snorkeling/SCUBA, the underwater scenes are just incredible. I loved all of the sea creatures they created and just the way the reefs and everything looked. Yes it had some silly stuff and plot holes, but from a pure entertainment standpoint, it made 3 hours go by like it was 90 minutes for me. I was never bored and honestly thought the whole last battle scene wasn't going to be the end and thought there was going to be more, because the time had gone by so fast. I hadn't watched a movie at full blast in my home theater in a long time just because we have a 2 year old, but we put him to bed early so we could start this and blast it. And I think I overdid it a little bit as my ears hurt after and this morning I still feel the ringing a bit lol. It's almost like when I used to go clubbing until 4am then wake up still feeling it in my ears.
  21. This sounds a lot like Hades, which I'd say is very action/RPG'ish as well, but is also rogue-like in it's foundation.
  22. That's good that they give so many options. I agree that I'd think playing with the old school control scheme would feel dated big time and would go the route you went. It was cool at the time and worked, but that was also well before PC games were designed for controllers and kbm was really the only way they designed input schemes, unless it was something like flight simulator or something very specific to a non standard controller.
