We had one staff member and one student at our kid’s school test positive last week. They didn’t notify us of close contact with our kids so I’m not really worried about it.

When I was first invited to an ES tailgate, eons ago, it was Capt Kaos who reached out. He got my cell number somehow. I forget. Im willing to wear a mask. It’s just that when you walk into a business or other common area and nobody else is wearing a mask, what’s the point? I actually wore a mask into a grocery store last week in OBX. Only reason is because I was purchasing an at-home Covid test for people who were vacationing with us. I felt no symptoms but didn’t want to risk it.

Regarding the above. I think we as Americans are done with masks except in medical settings and public transportation. Genie just isn’t going back into that bottle I’m afraid.

It is amazing how much top tier Nationals talent is now playing for other more wealthy organizations.

How soon? I’m all for youth, but when I hear “best players in baseball” I don’t expect projects that are going from one farm system to another for a couple seasons first.

I don’t know much behind baseball but it looks to me like we have up 2 of our top 5 players for peanuts and guys who may not ever even make the team.

So going back to the players. I lose a lot of respect for the ones who choose not to get vaccinated. If Chase Young is one of those guys then so be it. I doubt he’s here after his rookie contract expires if he’s a non vaccinator.
