Damn, my doc said he was going to check me after 2 weeks and 10 ejaculations... and I feel like if I’m shooting blanks then that’s all she wrote. -

I mean EA usually releases straight paywallwed ass so I’m not holding my breath on a BF BR that is a WZ killer but I’ll give it a shot if my squad plays that. Wonder when we will be able to find Ps5’s though. That’s the rough part.

I’ve been working out indoors at the gym without a mask when I’m distant from people. Also playing ice hockey without a mask. Fully vaccinated since Jan 27. Seems to be working for now. Outdoors, I’ve never worn a mask. At work, mask up pretty much the whole time.

Well, if that worker is using a once in a century oddity to attempt to negotiate their terms of employment then I’d think they were in the wrong. -

I do try to be compassionate. I have no problem with nurses getting special privileges or accommodations during this, or as a result of this. I do have a problem with the threat of refusing to work if certain demands are not met. I hope this is all just an exercise in thought and nothing ever comes of it and we can go along thinking that nurses are great for what they’ve done and the sacrifices that they’ve made. -

First off. What are their demands? Cause according to that tweet, it makes it seem like they should get more money any time there is an unprecedented global pandemic. I’m not against that, but what quantifies that? Are they against the forced overtime? As I understand it, nurses get forced into overtime a lot during times of need. I can’t imagine that being a nurse during the pandemic is very pleasant, but how does this compare to regular nursing, say, during flu season? For instance, there are currently 194 hospitalized patients in the entire northern region of VA. I don’t know what that breaks down per hospital but I can’t imagine that it’s many per hospital. At the height of the pandemic in NOVA it was about 700 people total hospitalized. Does that mean that working during widespread flu seasons will merit some sort of additional hazard pay? I hate to compare to two, but again, nurses are trained in dealing with sick people. I think, at this point, a year into it, nurses can deal with Covid patients fine. -
Your misfire should be fixed ASAP. Probably too late for my opinion on the subject but I would drive it VERY carefully. Lots of things can cause misfires, some of which can ruin engines if you drive too far. Most common things are ignition side (such as ignition coils or spark plugs) which will probably be ok. Mechanical issues, internal engine components, can cause misfires. Very common for misifires on those engines to be caused by fouled spark plugs due to oil burning due to failed piston rings.

You know what’s selfish? Refusing to help sick people because you don’t get your way financially after an unprecedented global pandemic. -
I will say that it’s absolutely AMAZING how quickly we’ve been able to vaccinate roughly 50% of the population.

Look, I feel for the front line nurses. They probably worked long hours during a global pandemic which added lots of stress. Sure. But you’re gonna strike when you don’t get a payday afterwords? That’s bogus. They were doing their jobs just like delivery drivers, warehouse workers, grocery store workers and first responders. They, along with the aforementioned, helped keep this country afloat in a dangerous and scary time. That’s awesome. Nurses jobs are to deal with sick people, what are we supposed to do for them when this is all over? -

Yeah cause it’s their job. They can always quit if they don’t want the risk. **** that tweet. -

It's a shame what's happening in India. Really makes me feel lucky for what we have here in the States. Even with Trump as president, we were still able to mobilize to combat covid. Now, we are at a point where 50% of adults (in VA at least) have received the vaccine. People are still masking and numbers aren't jumping up. There's hope that we will defeat this soon. Meanwhile, I understand that India is overcrowded in many areas and has huge hygiene issues. Leadership seems to be promoting holy days that will lead to spread. They're underreporting their numbers and didn't have the foresight or planning to handle such a spike. Also, their medical systems are woefully unprepared for something like this. I'd love to help them, but this seems like it was partially brought on by their own actions. -
Wow that's amazing. Might be something we can look into as well.

Got it. Thanks for the input, I value it.

we refi’ed in Feb 2020 RIGHT before Covid hit and the rates took a nose dive. Right now we are sitting at 3.625% so I could probably shave a little off but I’m not sure if it’s worth it to refi just for the rate change alone.

Question for the big brains: We are about to come into a couple hundred thousand dollars in cash due to a rental property sale. We have not much in the form of high interest debt (CC debt). We do have a HELOC and a car loan, both of which are low rates. Id like to refinance our home to take a huge chunk out of the principal and lower our monthly payment by probably $1,000 or so. Alternatively, would could pay off the car and HELOC but that would only give us 100k or less to refi and lower our mortgage. (Also yes, I realize that there’s capital gains taxes) What’s the thoughts on this? Specifically @techboy and @PleaseBlitz but also anyone else who wants to chime in would be nice. I probably should seek professional help.

I bought $1,000 worth at $0.12. When that money tripled I pulled all of it out except the original $1,000. Now I’ve been bouncing in and out of Dog for a bit. I just put in another $500 to make my current stake in Dog $2,000. If it blows up tomorrow then that’s cool. If it tanks, then I’ve still got some dumbass OTM calls on CCIV, SPY and CLOV. Its a ****ing casino. Also, I don’t believe in crypto.
