  1. I’d love to have Roman here, my opinion on the guy is he was kinda the scapegoat for a very bad and limited QB in Lamar, I work in Bmore City and I’m around Ravens fans all the time, and let me tell you that everything you hear on TV or read on Twitter or other outlets isn’t what most of if not all Ravens fan I know feel about Lamar, they’ll tell you he’s not a very good passer over 15yds, he misses more wide opened receivers down field then anyone and the most said thing is he’s a athlete playing QB… Roman while in SF had Crabtree in the top 10 of receivers and people forget when he was in Buffalo he actually had Tyrod Taylor and Taylor statically wasn’t a bad QB, and Roman definitely gets the most out of running schemes and the TE thrives…. So imho Roman could easily do something here with us specially if we commit and go OL this off season through FA and/or Draft. Leftwich imho was a product of having Arians around even if Arians wasn’t the true play caller, you can rest assured Arians had a major hand in the game to game scheme they were using, this last season Leftwich was the main offensive play caller and was alone doing so imho and it showed, to me I don’t want Leftwich anywhere near this franchise… he also had Brady even at his age and skill level failing is better then 1/2 the QB’s in the NFL
  2. I totally agree, all these other teams go with their young QB's why shouldn't we, sometimes the thing we look for the most has been or is right under our noses.....I definitely don't want any mid level QB...Tannehill, Marcus Marottia, Mayfield etc....for what the cost and effect will be we got that in Howell imho.
  3. I actually I’m hoping it’s not… having read a lot about Josh Harris and his group it’s clear this guy and group knows sports and has turned some franchises around… imho all Bezos knows is making money… that’s fine and all but making money off of ppl selling used books and then capitalizing furthermore is another animal compared to producing a winning sports franchise… sure many have but none to the name of Jeff Bezos and many will say just hire the right ppl and that will take care of itself…. Again hiring the right ppl in the real business world is a different animal then the sports world… just my 2 cents though…
  4. It appears for 2 of those 3 years that it was Bruce Arians calling the majority of those calls… this last season it was clearly apparent that Leftwich isn’t as good as expected… kinda like Eric Bieniemy in KC… imho they’re just OC in name and not actual job
  5. Just to name a few who I think have major upside going forward for us are: St Juste, Forrester, Jamin Davis and of course Chase (for the sole reason he’ll play a lot more and healthier I think) guys I’m hoping to see make the leap are: Cole Turner, Percy Butler, Mathis (coming back from game 1 injury)
  6. Actually it wasn’t Herbert’s fault its more he couldn’t get their running game more involved imho … they ranked near the bottom of yds rushing … and let’s be honest, your up 24-0 at half against the Jags… maybe just maybe it’s their Defense that isn’t all that great … but their HC Staley isn’t firing himself seeing he pretty much is the single caller defensively
  7. Not only this but the weapons he has at his disposal as well… to me it would be a waste nkt to get a more down field passing attack
  8. We’ve been haunted by Snyder and his misuse of this franchise and being a local and fan of the team growing up….but to be completely honest as long as they’re a good person I’d prefer a local person really. Look up the road in Bmore… Steve Bisciotti grew up a Colts fan and look at his track record… 1 of the best…same with Robert Kraft in NE. For me I tend to think rich people who have no ties to the franchise or community tend to “just because they can” think I just want to own a NFL team or in whatever league they’re in and the team doesn’t do much… but having said that I don’t care if the new Owners are from Mars as long as they turn this franchise around
  9. If all true he’d probably move right into the HC here… I might be the only guy here but given the circumstances he was dealt with this season in Az I actually think he did a really good job there …… I think Murray is a bust too… but I don’t see him getting back into any form of coaching in the near future… I think he sits on the beach and collects all that $ from the Cards sitting with beautiful women and a cold drink
  10. Howell McLaurin BRob Gibson Dotson Cole Turner Allen Jamin Davis St. Juste Forrest McClain Tress Sweat or Young (don’t think they keep both)
  11. I don’t think he’ll become Albert and I think Payne has always been a very good player, but let’s be honest he was pretty much dominant this season and definitely Pro-Bowl (or flag football pretty much now) worthy…. Just concerned we won’t see that type of season again from him … I’m in the sign Payne camp so I will be upset if we don’t resign him.
  12. Allen hands down… you get the same player with the same drive regardless of contract status, my fear with Payne is after he cashes in (hopefully w/us) he’ll revert back to good player status instead of the really good player he was this season…just my opinion
  13. I agree, how many times (more then not) have good players balled out in their contract season only to cash in and then revert back to that good player status… listen I love Payne no doubt but he’s not Allen or Terry where you get what you get regardless of contract status … and their play is the same regardless too… losing Payne would be huge but again I just hope if/when he cashes in we get what we got this season again
  14. Not against the move to move on from Turner but I do have my doubts that other than a in house hire is going to happen… Zampese being the likely choice imho. What quality young or old OC is going to want to come in for possibility 1 season unless a miracle happens and Rivera takes this team deep next season with new Ownership looming and even a entire over haul of the FO and field generals … not to mention let’s say Howell is the guy… if that would be the case he’d be in his 3rd OC in 3 season… (Turner in 2022, Whomever in 2023, then a new OC in 2024) wow reminds me of Campbell from years ago all over again.
  15. After signing a contract extension just last season by the Cards I can’t see this guy coming to be a OC anywhere or even a HC anywhere seeing he’ll be able to collect that $ and sit in the sun and have fun…
  16. Unless they swing a trade for Mahomes or an elite QB I’m surely hoping they don’t bring in another FA QB like Mayfield, Geno Smith or that type of guy… Howell showed he at least gets a shot at the helm next season if they dont bring in that elite QB… which they’re not
  17. Totally agree, the last several seasons have been really bad but this season imho by far the worse… almost to the point 1 would have to think they are rigging the games
  18. Cowboys 31 Manders 10 better question is how many Manders fans will be in the stands…. I’m thinking Cowboys easily win that too 75% Boys fans to just 25% for us
  19. My answer would be everyone of them but Marty Schcottheimer, Gibbs 2 and maybe Gruden… the rest of them were a knee jerk reaction or just simply stupid… (Spurrier, Zorn)
  20. So is this franchise from top to bottom.. I’m at the point with this franchise to where I would actually question if Jesus came back today and was the New Owner, GM or HC if it would get any better I agree….Bingo… if I recall correctly didn’t most of not all the Giant players hate Tom Coughlin? But yet they won 2 SB’s with him …. The whole players coach crap is over rated and where has the players love RR gotten this team in 3 years? Exactly nowhere….
