just my opinion here, but (and I'm not advocating this 1 way or the other, as I have some positives & negatives to the possibility) unless some how here at 4pm we call Lamar Jackson up and knock his & his Mom's shoes off w/a offer they can't resist and Ravens can't match in 5 days then there's no way we aren't going into the OTA's and Training Camp and into the season with anyone other then Sam Howell as QB1.....wouldn't surprise me either if Jake Fromm isn't the #2 either and they draft a 3rd in the later rounds of the draft. I think Brissett is too much $ for what they're looking for and Bridgewater isn't durable enough imho and Mayfield would be way to much $.....just seems as if the market is declined for their expectations and desires $ wise. Just my opinion

I tend to totally agree w/everything you stated but I actually don’t see the lockerroom being a issue, for all reports we heard it wasn’t anything locker room related w/anyone when it came to Wentz and his time here, and to be honest the way the world is and we have to admit it sports in general it’s more about I then it is about team, if Wentz came back on a very friendly contract I don’t see any issues w/anyone in the locker room… having said all that I’m not in favor of bringing him back but I also wouldn’t give up my fandom either if they would

So let me throw a name out there for the back up role behind Sam… how about AJ McCarron … he’s doing pretty well right now w/St Louis in the XFL and if I’m not mistaken wasn’t he the back up in Cincy when Zampese was there as OC… just asking cause I’m sure he could be had for nearly league minimum I would think and has been a career NFL back up

I actually think a 3rd rounder for him was too much… his huge season was 3 yrs ago w/over 100 catches but hasn’t gotten to even half that in the last 2 combined… often injured w/the neck … kinda think his best days are behind him…. I do respect him though big time for the struggles he’s overcome off the field though ..much respect for him accept the 2 times we play them

Maybe he wasn’t on board w/the Nick Gates move, being he’s often injured and coming back … I can’t see him being against the Wiley move though but clearly something had to have happened within a short period….

That’s exactly what I was thinking when NFL Network were speaking on Lamar…. what happens when no team offers him a deal and definitely not 1 he thinks he’s worth…. Seriously 2 #1’s isn’t a awful lot to give up for a QB… but it is when the 1 in question wants a fully guaranteed deal and has missed 11 games in the last 2 seasons… I’m actually rooting for his stance to blow up and nobody sign him and he has to go back to the Ravens

Davis Mills would definitely be a nice $ wise QB with some experience but let’s be honest would he be the clear #2? I’m a Sam Howell guy and want him to start but Mills isn’t that bad and the Texans while he was there were a really really bad team in all facets…. We have clear weapons and given that I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility that he couldn’t be the #1 specially with the ties he has with our new QB coach and the system… just saying !!

I think they are still in the market to draft a CB, or at least I'm hoping they are...as much as I thought St.Juste made considerable gains I still think we need a true stud at CB and I believe Witherspoon, Porter Jr., and Gonzales are very capable of being studs....I think Dantzler was added for depth not to be opposite of Fuller, again I'm hoping not, dude imho is a bit lower then William Jackson

At least we knew for sure Christmas was coming, this process we are 50/50 and not Rod Gardner 50/50 like…. I still think many of us feel as if the carpet is going to be pulled out from under us and Snyder still remains -
Exactly totally agree… I’ve said things about Rivera as a coach and his decision making but for all probable cause he has definitely righted a wrong and has definitely earned my respect for all the outside noise from all the Snyder crap…. In fact with bringing in Bieniemy I’d have no issue if in a year or 2 Ron goes upstairs to the FO and EB takes over the HC role… We aren’t the same as we were 3 years ago… that’s why I hate when all outlets like NFL Network and others say this or that is exactly what this franchise is… yesterday on Good Morning Football they were discussing Lamar and the Reporter Guest said this is right up the Commanders alley to go and sign a guy for over 50m a season and fully guarantee it too… I’m thinking yeah 3-4 years ago but not anymore….

Totally agree …. All these reports are smoke screens and attempts to get the dogs of the scent on the trail…. Definitely won’t be soon enough for us fans who are desperately awaiting this day -
I think they were already high on Stroud and had him penned as their guy but after seeing him live they had to move up. But let’s say they go against all the odds and take Richardson #1 overall I tend to think as you and it being solely upside and this is where I could see them signing Wentz or bringing back Sam Darnold for a year or 2 and let Anthony Richardson sit… I think taking AR overall #1 though is a very risky task… has there ever been a true #1 over all QB taken that at some point of his rookie season didn’t actually play and/or take over the helm? That’s why I’m saying it’s Stroud… if any weird thing happens other then him it could be Levis but I highly doubt that
