me either and yet it seems as if the NFL is pushing for alot of the teams to incorporate it into 1 of their uniforms -
In a perfect world or in my best nights rest dreaming I’d love to see us sign Andy Dalton as back up QB Mike Gesicki at TE Orlando Brown at OT Dalton Risner at OL David Long at LB and maybe James Bradberry (but I think he had a career yr solely cause it was his walk season) as he did when with the Giants

Harris has been the guy I've wanted so I'm hoping this goes down...coming from Schefter I'm taking this as awesome news -

this happening would be the icing on the cake for alot of the older fanbase (like myself) this sell and the new owners has alot more riding on it then just Snyder not being the owner imho. I want it to be Josh Harris, from things I've read up about him and seeing him he doesn't remind me of a rich got to be in the limelight type guys, but I don't know from Adam so thats all opinion. -
I’m going to get killed here for saying this but I always viewed Champ as being slightly overrated… I still remember a Sunday night game against the Saints 19yrs ago (I remember cause I took my hugely pregnant at the time Wife to the game) where we watched Aaron Brooks and Joe Horn man handle Champ Bailey…. Bailey was never in the same category as Green or even in his time of Rod Woodson, Deion etc…. So I actually don’t see where trading Bailey for Clinton was a bad trade…. It worked for both teams at the time and CP stripper pole and all in his basement along with those goofy Eastern Motors commercials was really good for us under Gibbs 2

totally agree, he did do well in the slot hearing of his release naturally turned my attention to going CB in the draft....also being a PSU guy I'd love to have Porter Jr, he's balled for seasons now at PSU and at a high level imho while I've heard Witherspoon is more of a late bloomer and really hadn't done much before this past season at Illinois in 2022....
-
Just wondering if the FO is going the route of what most mocks have us doing w/the 16th… taking Witherspoon or Porter Jr and w/McCain being the odd man out of the DB’s rotation it kinda sees fitting they released him… wondering if the plan on 2023 is Fuller, (Witherspoon/Porter Jr) St.Juste at CB and Curl & Forrester w/Butler at Safety

Your Thoughts, Opinions, ideas and positions to target through FA or Draft. With most of Mocks I've saw on NFL Network etc... they have us taking Witherspoon or Porter Jr w/the 16th pick, if that holds true then CB would be addressed more then likely....so I'll stick w/CB in this post. Here are a few names available the Free Agent route: Murphy Jr. (Cards) Ya-Sin (Raiders) Peterson (Vikes) Jones (Pats) Peters (Ravens) Sutton (Steelers) Bradberry (Iggles) Dean (Bucs) Nothing or nobody real exciting to me except maybe Jamel Dean of the Bucs but saying that it's my opinion none of these above mentioned guys are any more then William Jackson 2.0 so if it's me, and Withersppon from Illinois is there at 16, then I'm grabbing him and counting my Blessings and/or Joey Porter Jr but even being a PSU guy I'm still not knowing if at 16 I'm pulling that trigger Thoughts?

I'm a huge Carr fan, love everything he stands for, but saying all that, I don't want him here even at say 30m.....just been down that road with this team the last several years and kinda like you said I wonder how he'd respond too to Bieniemy's style of coaching (I think he'd do fine but I see him as being a guy who might never have been pressed by coaches since maybe Del Rio).....and plus I just kinda love how Sam Howell sets up on the platter for us sort of say, I think him being the starter in 2023 is a win win for us, even if he fails....weird thinking about this though I didn't remember the connection between Del Rio & Carr being together till I just typed it......hmm
-
Seriously let me ask cause I’m not really a salary or cap type guy/fan (it’s way over my head lol) all reports are Daniel Jones is seeking 45m… if Carr is seeking 35m then wouldn’t it be a no brainer for the GMen to try and sign Carr over Jones… and reports I read already this morning from Jeremy Fowler are there is 2-3 other teams that reached out to Carrs camp other then just the Saints & Jets… man 35m for Carr seems a bit low compared to what Jimmy G and Jones want….

New OC Thread (Welcome Aboard Eric Bieniemy!)

or once Rivera moves up to FO or out the door or simply retires and Bieniemy steps in to the HC -
you hit the nail on the head and I totally agree....I just looked at their cap space & draft picks for this year, got to say that going for the SB ring placed them in bad shape imho. They are 14.9m over the 224.8 cap and their draft picks aren't great either. Currently they're sitting at (1) 2nd rounder w/36th over all & (1) 3rd rounder w/69th over all ....then they don't draft again till the 6th round with 4 picks.....as you said they're looking to dump salary and not pick up salary and also looking for draft picks in return, i.e dumping Bobby Wagner after 1 yr of a original 5yr deal.....

You're not the only 1 feeling this way.....but mine aren't that he'll be another Snyder, mine are more on the example of the new ownership group Walton-Penner for the Broncos...look at some of the really questionable moves they've made in what 1 year of owning the team.. From renewing Wilson contract before even taking a snap for them (I won't mention the trading of picks for him cause that's hindsight imho, we would have done the same thing) then going out and getting what in my opinion is the most overrated HC in a long time in Sean Payton and once again giving up draft picks for a person who can't do anything on the actual field of play...I also think just cause someone can build a business out on the street doesn't automatically mean they're have success in the sporting world....specially the NFL, so many tangibles as a owner in the NFL....I mean would you want a Dentist performing heart surgery, the 2 have nothing to do with each other, i.e successful business man compared to success NFL Owner.....Josh Harris has proven to be able to be/do both imho -
Your Expectations for 2023 Season in this Year of Big Changes
Command The 414 replied to 88Comrade2000's topic in The Stadium
my expectations for 2023 regardless of Sam Howell being the starter with only 1 game under his belt is Playoffs or bust, anything less then a Playoff appearance and I'll go even further with saying at least a Wild Card game Win, if that doesn't happen then once again 2023 will be a failed season imho
