Stop dreaming. Watson, Rodgers, Wilson aren't coming anywhere near here. -
Next Day Thread: Buffalo vs. Landover Junior Varsity
88Comrade2000 replied to KDawg's topic in The Stadium
I don't like the title. You are insulting Junior Varsity players everywhere by calling us a junior varsity. We are much worse. -
I think Jumbo will be wrong. I think there are a handful of Dems, that aren’t vocal; who will have no problem too see the reconciliation part fail. They will then blame progressives when the bipartisan deal fails. I expect full open warfare between moderates and progressives in 22; should neither bill get passed. Everything is pointing to big gop wins in 22.

Jack Del Rio: Another Bust In The Making.

Ultimately it all lies with Ron. Ron is the one with all the power and making the key decisions. His wrong decisions will eventually be his undoing. -
Game Day Thread - Washington at The Third Forgotten NY Football Team
88Comrade2000 replied to TK's topic in The Stadium
What he does next year will determine whether he lasts beyond year 3. Though if we do go 2-15; you don’t know who’s whispering sweet nothings into Dan’s ear. Dan could chuck Ron. I’d be watching Dan late in the season. -
Game Day Thread - Washington at The Third Forgotten NY Football Team

We aren’t either. We are team that will win anywhere from 2 games, worst case to 7-8 games, best case. This team isn’t a playoff team. -
Game Day Thread - Washington at The Third Forgotten NY Football Team

I was out today, so didn't catch the game. I did check on the score a few times and noticed Buffalo, getting a bigger and bigger lead. I said that today that reality would hit us. Also, today was a test for the defense. Well after seeing what the score was, looks like reality hit us dead on and we failed that defensive test. The hype going into the season was that we had a great defense and too some we were just a QB away from being Superbowl contenders. Wrong. As has been said, that so called great defense last year; was because they feasted on mostly bad teams. Some of those bad teams like Dallas where playing their backups. The good teams will eat us alive. I expect many more results like today. The bad/lesser teams will hang around and may even beat us. Week 4: @Falcons. A team we should beat but I actually think Atlanta will be favored and it wouldn't shock me to see them beat us. Week 5: Saints. Depends which Winston we get- Week 1 or Week 2, but New Orleans probably wins us. Week 6: Chiefs. Chiefs aren't as good as last year. Well, in 3 weeks if they are still below last year's pace; we will cure them. Expect a loss worse than today. Week 7: @Packers. Aaron should have a great day. Week 8: @Broncos. I think this is a loss, Broncos are clearly a better team. Week 9: Bye Week Week 10: Buccaneers. Tom Brady will be having some fun this day. My guess, if Fitzy is healthy; he will be QB1 for this game. Week 11: @Panthers. the Sam Darnold redemption tour will continue. Week 12: Seahawks. Wilson will have a good day. Week 13: @ Raiders. Carr will have a good day. Week 14: Boys. Dak will have a good day. Week 15: @Eagles. Depends on where the Eagles are then. A good Eagles team will beat us; a bad one, maybe we have a shot. Week 16: @ Boys. Dak will have another good day. Week 17: Eagles. Maybe, our 2nd win. Week 18: @Giants. Daniel Jones will get his revenge for last week. 2-15 honestly, isn't that far fetched. Now, in reality that probably doesn't happen. We may stink for while and we are talking about our high draft pick and the franchise QB. Then this team wins some games late and we from a Top 5 pick to somewhere between 9-15. I can already see the beginning of the end of the Rivera era. It will be traced to this years poor defense. For a defensive coach; his defenses suck. I can see a new era after the 22 season. -
Week 3 Prediction thread..Washington @ bungalo bills

Except for Pittsburgh, the defense did it against inferior competition. Some teams were playing backups, when the defense played them. With a tougher schedule this year, against some of the best qbs in the league; we will soon find out if the defense is really as good as the hype or overrated. The first 2 weeks against teams closer to us; leaves one doubtful. The first test is today. -
WVU is so bad, soon to be new Big 12 will give WVU the boot and replace WVU with a program that can win.

He will probably come back down to earth. The defense will probably makes things worse for TH because he will probably be playing from behind all game; probably a 2td deficit. So, he’s bound to make more mistakes in attempting to lead us back. -

Before we call him a legend, give a him a long term contract; let him earn it. It will take 2 seasons of him playing before you can honestly say he has earned the right to be called a legend and earn a long term contract. -
Well agreeing with Dems on most issues don't mean jack, if they are going to vote against Dems because of one or two issues. I'm sure they are plenty of issues the non cult gop voters don't agree with the GOP but they will still vote for the GOP, over the Dem. You know the last time the Senate was briefly 50-50 from Jan 2001 until Jun 2001; when Jim Jefford became an independent and caucused with Dems; the GOP was able to get their tax cut deal thru before the change. That was a bigger deal than the American Rescue plan that they did pass. The Dems are just weak and they have probably one of the weakest leaders since Jimmy Carter. Jimmy was a nice dude but he got ran over by congress and then when events got bad; he couldn't really do anything. If Biden can't get either legislation thru; his presidency is effectively over and he will be nothing more than a zombie president. I also thing a big problem with Dems; they have way to many in positions of power controlled by people who are 65+. Every Dem neeeds to primaried until the old gaurd is gone. It's true the younger generation is probably more progressive but they can fight back, far better than the weak old gaurd that runs the Dems now.

There’s this myth that people voted for the Democratic agenda. The only reason Biden is president and the Dems have a 50-50 tie is Trump. I didn’t vote for Biden, I voted against Trump. Biden was the only option. If the American people wanted Joe‘a agenda; they would’ve gave him the Congress. The Dems aren’t United. The progressives and the moderates/conservative Dems are on the opposite end of spectrum. The Progressives are the majority of the house caucus. Moderates in the Senate. So, each side is using their leverage. In the end; nothing will pass. Dems won’t be motivated to come out in 22. Gop will be. Gop will win the control of Congress and win back the governorships they lost in 18. The gop will be the heavy favorites for 24; even if Trump is the nominee. Yes, this country is dumb enough to give him another term. As for the Dem 24 nominee; it will not be Kamala. The Dems will not just give it to her. There will be a wide open race and I expect a progressive leaning candidate to Win the nomination.

Jon Gruden. He loses more than he wins, in November/December.
