  1. Jon Gruden. He loses more than he wins, in November/December.
  2. It's not how they start, it's how they finish. They started out good the last 2 years, only to fall apart the later in the season. Gruden is a horrible coach late in the season.
  3. If the defense doesn't improve, that isn't happening. Bills- Probable competitive loss 1-2 Falcons- Win 2-2 Saints- IF Week 1 Winston appears instead of 2019 Winston; I think this is a loss. 2-3 Chiefs- Blowout loss. 2-4 Packers- loss. 2-5 Broncos- Close win. 3-5 3-5 is realistic. Maybe 4-4, if we beat Saints. As for Taylor, any long term extension should happen until after 22. I don't care how well he does this year, he needs to show he can repeat it next year. There are plenty of QBs that had a great year, only to end up sucking the next year. If you want to extend his contract for a year to 23, that's fine. No, long term extension until he proves he can do it for 2 consecutive years. And if he does earn that extension; you are dreaming if he would take an extension at 10 million a year. If the team actually wanted to give him an extension after this year; Taylor should at minimum ask for 20 - 30 million a year. The average starting QB salary will be 40 - 50 million per year pretty soon. If after 2 years he has earned the long term contract; he will probably ask for 40-50 million and probably get 30-40 million per year.
  4. You want to sign him to a 3 year contract based on one game? He played against the Giants. We have him signed for 2 years. Let’s see if he can last a season without getting hurt. Let’s see how he fairs against the better teams. Can he beat Tampa this time? Then let’s see him do it again in 22. If he does that, then he will have earned a long term contract. Odds are strong he doesn’t last the season and we will see Kyle play and probably see Fitzy again if he’s healthy later in the year.
  5. You have seen the schedule? If it takes a few more weeks for the defense to find its grove; the season will be over.
  6. Taylor will keep us competitive, as long as he stays healthy. What will hurt him potentially is our defense. If he has to try to come back from a 14 point or greater deficit, he probably will make more mistakes. I think the more he plays, the better Taylor can be. The defense has to get better or it will be a long season. I have a hard time seeing us winning these games with our current defense playing the way it is: Bills, Saints, Chiefs, Packers, Bucs, Seahawks Only possible win is Falcons. I say it's a toss up against Panthers, Raiders, Broncos Dallas with Dak won't be easy and the rematch with Giants will be tough. Eagles, depends how they are doing when we play them. We can finish anywhere from a Top 5 pick to Top 10 pick; if defense doesn't get better.
  7. Savior the win because with our defense; they aren’t going to be to many wins.
  8. Taylor will go far as he can but the defense will be the story this year. Our defense sucks and there aren’t going to be many highlights this year because of our defense.
  9. But, but we are a qb away from being legit super bowl contenders with this defense. My ass. Probably, the most overrated defense of all time.
  10. Watson, Rodgers and Wilson will not come here. Daniel Jones wouldn’t come here.
  11. Realistically, other than Atlanta and maybe Carolina where are the remaining wins? Dallas will sweep us, so will NY. If Philly is playing good when they play us, they probably sweep us also.
