I always wanted to see a match at Goodison, but felt like it probably wouldn't happen when they started talking about a new stadium. Alas, I was correct, but I'm looking forward to seeing the new stadium and at least visiting that one.

I'll believe it when I see it. Still a prentendy new ground until it happens regardless of anything Anderson wants to talk about.

All rather ironic the council willing to guarantee loans being as Everton are the 'Merseyside Millionaires' whom Liverpudlians are now insanely jealous of apparently. Just not £300 million (which is massively cheap by itself for a new ground in England. Not least with all the renovations that would have to go on down the Dock Road) millionaires it would seem.

As of now, Bramley Dock remains what it is. The 'latest' new Evertonian ghost ground.

Liverpool's old-school route from the Academy to the Jurgen Klopp's first team - Goal.com

Another excellent read on well arguably the most flourishing academy the entire league (given the ultimate goal is getting players to first team level and that list is growing by the passing season) already before we even start to think about the new combined super modern facility being developed the next year or so at Kirkby.

As we prepare to remember the passing of the great Ronnie Moran Sat'day dinner, the old school L'pool values of hard work, accountability and humility being instilled at every level by Jürgen as he turns the whole culture around ties everything up perfectly.

Yesterday we were the official instant replay guinea pigs. We lost 0-2 to Spain on a couple of instant replays. One denying an offside goal the other granting a suspicious pk to Spain. Oh Lord Koscielny had a PK relapse !

The bad thing being that the football authorities didn't care to display these instant replays on the stadium screen.

Yeah, it would be easy enough to play those on the big screen. And then the fans at least know whats going on and can see it and wont become enraged.

using replay for close offsides calls in goal scoring situations isn't a bad use of it, imo.   not sure about using IR to take a non-call to a penalty (though I do like it for the other way... taking a called penalty and deciding no-call, which i admit isn't consistent).  lots of things look much more egregious in slowmo than in real time.

Ben Woodburn wasn't even born the last time Everton won at Anfield.

I don't know whether to be worried for Sat'day that the law of averages says that has to end at some point or just expect the norm to carry on and Everton to **** out of the Derby as always? :(.

Personally, I'd love to see Ben in the starting XI with Phil dropped back the Lallana role and Can and Wijnaldum alongside each other. (Not sure you bring Henderson straight back into the Derby but then he did Utd after he'd been missing a good few weeks.). ANYTHING bar a three of Lucas, Can and Gini. God forbid we EVER see that no pace horror show again.

After the usual mad week of build up and a lifetime of text skitting back and forth, the biggest day of the year is finally here for the second time this season and all the tension can be released.

I thought I was getting to the point where it didn't tie me up in knots but that's just deluding myself. You can't be in this City and NOT let it effect yer. You grow up with Blues. Work with them. Socialise with them. In a City where footie is the all-consuming passion, this week is off the charts mad. Culminating in the best day of the year. Derby day on Merseyside. At least I slept well last night which never used to be the case haha.

Can't see anything other than a L'pool win. Everton always put WAY too much on the only thing they have. Beating L'pool. And the pressure inevitably tells and the inevitably **** out most every Derby. Last year's complete and utter annihilation, when they literally 'never touched the ball'; is the story of their recent lives. Hopefully they get ahead of themselves and come to play footie. Everytime they do that they get a doing. I'd love a good, kick seven shades of the preverbal scrap but with that imbocile Taylor in charge, if that happened Hell knows how many more names would be added to the most red carded fixture in PL history.

There's the nagging fear that as ****e as Everton are, made even worse by the injuries, this run of no win at Anfield since 1999 and no win of any description in a Derby since 2010 has to end sooner or later. But then it's the Derby. Where bitter arses always go and heroic men in Red (seemingly) always prevail.

In these sanitised times of the modern game, this ones old school. And this one matters! And as we remember Mr Liverpool, a man who absolutely personified everything this City adheres to, today feels like it matters more than most.

Jürgen to go 3 for 3 in the Derby and L'pool to lick the Blues 2 or 3.

But I'll MORE than settle for what happened December again and the best way to a win a football match EVER! When Sadio and Shaky canceled the Blues Chrimbo!

Just win Redmen. Defeat ISN'T an option!

Up the 'do it for Bugsy' Reds!

Haven't seen a game that undeserved since Barca vs Chelsea 2012.  Now I know how they felt lol.

Oh well, hard to argue when you give up two poor goals in 1.5 minutes.  Costa was the worst player on the pitch by far today and I think just secured himself a transfer in the summer. On the bright side Chelsea looked very good in all attacking areas other than, you know, scoring.

7 point gap with man city coming up. Makes that game far more important now

That was the most entertaining game I've seen since City.  It had most everything.

Tactically we were better, organizationally we were better, and we controlled the game for most of the 90.

Couple of quick gripes... no idea how Barkley hasn't been sent off twice in a row now.  Just what do you have to do?  And Ashley Williams is an absolute ****.

One quick question:  How do we feel about Emre Can now?  Got his head out of his ass since I gave him the pep talk didn't he?

And just how good/unlucky is Trent Alexander-Arnold??? Best player on the pitch the last 15 minutes either side by a mile.  Should've had at least the one, as it was he had more shots on target in 15 minutes then Lukaku had all game. Not sure I want to see him as a fullback going forward.  Seems like a waste to put him there and I know he was a CAM when we got him into the academy.

Red Ron's pandering utter bull**** to Blues I see. Which is a fruitless exercise after he's just got beat in their Cup Final yet again. He'll now be the anti-Christ whatever he says. 'Hard tackles are a part of football and you just get on with it' huh Koeman? Someone should have said to him 'I suppose you just expected Coleman to get back up and run around then huh with no problem on Taylors tattle'?' ..... Frigging gob****e. Barkley should have gone before the Lovren disgrace. People used to have a go at Rafa when he said he didn't like to play Scousers the Derby. Barkley's a glaring technicolor example of that. He comes out TOO over hyped. Should have gone for the potential leg breaker on Henderson at the pit December. Should have gone for similar yesterday. Same with Davies. That little prick was VERY fortunate to stay on the field too. And Williams. Koeman saying he's 'proud of his team' is as cringeworthy as when Hodgson insulted us in 2010 by saying that was the best L'pool had played all year and he was dead proud of them ..... after a 2-0 loss at Goodison. I'd just love to be a bitter hearing that from my manager after a complete ass whooping AGAIN at Anfield. Except right now NONE of them will answer their moby's or texts and town was absolutely devoid of any yesterday. Uncanny that after all their B/S through last week about how good they now are (STOP laughing at the back)  and how jealous and scared we now are of them with their pretendy new stadium. :rofl89::rofl89::rofl89:

Everton where a complete disgrace yesterday. There's being passionate and committed. And there's completely overstepping the line. They did the latter as collective Blue heads fell off all over the park. Couldn't cope on any football level with L'pool. So they resorted to the arl 'Dogs of War, kick the living ****e out of anything in a red shirt' gameplan. The only time Everton were in the game at all was when Williams gutlessly did Can and he was limping around for a spell. That's why Taylor shouldn't be ANYWHERE near a game like that. Had he booked Barkley early as he should, he wouldn't of let it get out of control. Just a poor, POOR official that lad. And L'pool were FAR from their best. But they didn't have to be as Everton are complete and utter ****e and got completely done in every football facet.

Special shout outs to Lovren, Matip and the absolutely outstanding Lucas on his Derby farewell (gonna' miss all he's given the last 10 years) in not giving the top scorer in the Country a kick. Welcome back Phil ..... THATS the little genius we know and love so well. Hopefully the injury's finally behind you now. Trent for coming on and being the best player the park the last 15 with one sole intention. Singlehandedly bagging his first goal and going at Everton full pelt every time he got the ball. And Kloppo for keeping his composure and not chinning Koeman and the rest of his bellend staff for both the disgrace that was going on in the assaults on his players, and the gob****es condoning it the other bench. Although it was hilarious to see him go absolutely mad, in injury time, at his name being sung. Humble to the last and ALL about getting behind his players and not himself. The fact he was then asked by ourselves 'Who the ****ing Hell are you?' made it even funnier.

Feeling the worse for wear as I've not hit town like that for quite some time. But then a complete battering, AGAIN, of the shower from over the park calls not just to be out. But out OUT!

As for Everton ..... Lukaku's right. Your team is ****E!

Up the Derby Destroying Reds!
