McD5
Come on Vinny. Do something right for once. Make up for your terrible second round last year, and get us a stud. After a contentious and over a month-long falling-out between Cutler and new coach Josh McDaniels couldn’t be resolved, Broncos owner Pat Bowlen issued the following statement today: “Numerous attempts to contact Jay Cutler in the last 10 days, both by Head Coach Josh McDaniels and myself, have been unsuccessful. A conversation with his agent earlier today clearly communicated and confirmed to us that Jay no longer has any desire to play for the Denver Broncos. We will begin discussions with other teams in an effort to accommodate his request to be traded.” http://blogs.nfl.com/2009/03/31/bowlen-says-broncos-will-try-to-trade-cutler/

NattyLight
Come on Vinny. Do something right for once. Yeah, like don't trade for Cutler. He is NOT what this team needs, and fools are always banging on Vinny FOR making the flamboyant trade or FA acquisition. This would just be a disaster. McD5
This'll be in the stadium in a minute. I thought about putting it in there......but it doesn't pertain to the Skins directly. Didn't want to upset the mods. They can move it if they like.

ixcuincle
What's the date on that blog entry? Extremely recent. Further confirmation from here http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5iiB4vdBT_j6VsTB1pWbP3EBkuudgD979BSN00 The Denver Broncos said Tuesday they will grant Jay Cutler his request and try to trade the disgruntled Pro Bowl quarterback. There is no shortage of teams interested in the 25-year-old rocket-armed Pro Bowl quarterback. SIXX99
I hope we do. It would open up our offense in so many ways. It would set our offence back a year and tear apart the locker room.

Thinking Skins
THis I know. There will be a large set of Redskins fans who will want Jay Cutler at any cost, and there will be a large set of Redskins fans who will not want Jay Cutler. So there's no right answer for Vinny in this situation because he'll get blamed either way.

SIXX99
How would it set the offense back? Too many touchdowns? Well Zorn will have to learn Cutler and vice versa. Plus Cutler would have to get comfortable with the recievers, system, etc.
Inquisitor
Besides there's not enough cap room. Since when did that ever stop the Redskins in the past? If the Redskins want Cutler, the Redskins will get Cutler, pricetag be damned.

He is NOT what this team needs, and fools are always banging on Vinny FOR making the flamboyant trade or FA acquisition. This would just be a disaster. I respect your opinion, and just about everyone's opinion on the subject. But honestly, what is the alternative? 13 tds isn't the answer either. So....you either hope JC improves tremendously, with nearly the same o-line, same receivers, and rbs that are a year older....and if not, then draft a qb with our first next year.....who will take several years to develop, or you give Cutler a chance. Siven
Well Zorn will have to learn Cutler and vice versa. Plus Cutler would have to get comfortable with the recievers, system, etc. Cutler played in a WCO every year at Denver.
HEavyJumbo85
If I'm Detroit with that extra 1st rounder, I go like hell after this guy. Trade for Cutler, Draft a Left Tackle number 1, Already have Calvin Johnson=A tremendous start to a rebuild.
