Daks brother dissing Dallas's front office for not doing anything in free agency. He said Philly clearly has the best front office. I think he's right. However after a year or two, people might start saying that Peters and company are the best F.O. 😁

Bet he wasnt dissing them when they backed up the Brinks truck for Dak

You youngsters are just too damn civilized. lol

When I was growing up we ate our steak like real cavemen. Put a stake through them, cook them over an open fire and then go to town.

If you bite into a thick ribeye and you don't have blood dripping down your chin it just doesn't have that bang you're looking for.

Not sure if mentioned yet but chargers desperately need to clear cap space. I’d be looking at sending them a flyer for Keenan Allen big time.

others that could be had, Joey Bosa, Khalil Mack

Allen is a stud when healthy and is the perfect vet receiver for a young QB. But he gets hurt too much.

I would say 3rd round Rattler territory. I am also high on Howell.

I'd definitely say 2nd. The GM's around the league know he can play in this league, unlike the rest of the entire '22 class. The problem is that he doesn't come with a 4 year deal anymore, if Howell came with a 4 year deal now, knowing how he played last year, he'd be drafted in round 2 for sure. He wouldn't go ahead of the top 5, probably top 6 I think because this draft is vastly superior to '22, but I definitely think he'd be a top 64 pick.

Once again, this made me laugh...not sure why.  Kind'a giddy the last couple of days.

"Kind'a giddy the last couple of days."

Me too!

Peters and Quinn have me so excited I'm feeling like I just got a double dose of EDIT happy pills.

Early 2nd because of the rookie contract for 4 years. Because 2 years are gone 3/4 now still a lot up in the air.

I think more a mid 2nd, because the '24 draft is just better period than the '22 was, but yeah, if you get the 4 year rookie deal+ the knowledge of what his upside performances were from September to Mid November last year? He's not a 3rd or 4th, because you know he can play. But it's also a really good draft at expensive positions (QB, OL, WR), so he's not gonna be going 1st or early 2nd in my view. 3rd and 4th just strikes me as way too low (if you add the caveat of teams knowing that he just threw for a bazzillion yards, and had clear moments/games where he looked like the real deal (in terms of solid QB).

Too pink! Let's get some well done up in here!

Don't let these snobby hillbillies knock ya. Jaques Pepin even said that a steak is a reward and however a person enjoys it best, is the best way to repair it.

The point wasn't to use FA to go for big swing blue chip elite players. Guys like that aren't really available in FA anyway. The goal was to fill out the roster so we can at least be competitive, and especially to find some vets on the offense that can support a rookie QB.

We're gonna build the core of our team, the real blue chip cornerstones, via the draft.

I think it's basically to give Howell on offense, and the defense in general, the spackle necessary to be competent, while they try to rebuild most of it through the draft and trades. That's, I imagine, in part, why so many of the deals are short. They hope to have the team fixed in 2-3 seasons max, so the contracts are shorter, win-win for us and the player.
