The only good moment is that Josh became owner yesterday and I suspect many good moments over the years.

Well you can count on buying beers for everyone at two different parties.

 

So that makes it already 3 good moments, which is already more than Dan Snyders' playoff victories in 24 years.

 

And he's been owner less than 24 hours.

I'll take this moment to offer my top moment on this momentous occasion.

 

It was when Harris shelled out beaucoup amount of money to purchase the team.

When Harris bought the 76ers, he hired his GM and they began what was called the procedure. Tanked for 6 years stacking talent. Now they're a legit playoff team for 5 straight years and looking to built a new stadium right in the heart of the city. He'll go after FAs, make big trades. Not him per say, but allow his GM to do it has stuck by him every step of the way. It's been awesome.

And the NFL is not the NBA. You have to stockpile picks in the NBA because you need to hit on a top 5 player or else you are going nowhere.  There are only 5 players on the court.  

 

The NFL is different, you can turn an entire roster over in 2 years and get competitive very quickly.  Well, unless you're Ron.  He improved by 4 games in year 1, which was great.  But that's basically it.

Eagles find ways to stockpile. They then either use those picks to get someone now or trade to stockpile more.

But still lacking a ring despite he had 5 top 6 first round picks. 5 busts out of 6

I hope he learned and won't go down the tanking road like that in DC. Nevertheless I wish him good luck.
