The Trump Riot Aftermath (Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes found guilty of seditious conspiracy. Proud Boys join the club)

i didn’t realize that was second hand testimony.  That’s what happens when you don’t watch it.

anyway- I don’t consider it the most damning testimony. I consider the fact he knew they were armed and didn’t care more important.

It doesn’t really matter anymore. Anyone who hates Trump will believe he lunged for the wheel no matter what.  Any testimony to the contrary will be viewed as lying/perjury.

MAGAs are already saying how she wasn’t credible, this was lying testimony.

There are no facts anymore.

I dunno, man. I think you're underestimating the impact of today's testimony.

She might be all the way up to "Grimace of Profound Disagreement" by now. Anyone around her better watch out. If Trump isn't careful she might even get to Sternly Worded Letter and then all hell breaks loose.

well. Some are a lost cause.

some of these people thought it was funny trump mocked a reporter with ms.

or made fun of McCain for getting captured

or decided the FBI was a trash organization

They’ve been brainwashed into distrusting and hating the institutions of our country.

So no, testimony under oath doesn’t matter to them.

there’s nothing we can do about them.

I mean if they testify under oath that she lied then fine. If they testify under oath that they exaggerated then fine. I’m ok with it not being true. There is other much more serious **** that I’m hanging my hat on

Hey, I WANT it to be true.  :ols:

Her account in that matter is second hand, apparently. Hopefully the more serious **** she testified on is backed up.

Well, the Kurt Eichenwald tweet posted on the previous page by @EmirOfShmo seemed to indicate that the Secret Service agent had been deposed and that she wouldn't be allowed to say what she did if he had contradicted her story.

Though I'm not sure if he's assuming that the Secret Service agent in question was deposed or if he has actual info that he was.

The problem with this thinking is that it will be little more than he said/she said, and excludes the possibility of evidence one side is telling the truth. I firmly believe that the way the J6 committee is doling out this info and presenting their case are for reasons that go beyond "Hey, look at this. Told you." It's rather methodical and isn't being treated like a trial. And I'm starting to think the DoJ is playing its role as well. I mean, would it surprise anyone if we learned down the road that the non-scheduled hearing today was planned all along, but the committee wanted to present it as "We just learned some bombshell news and now we must hold another hearing, it's so big"?

I was sure she said the guy told her himself but they are disputing it so we will see.

I want to to be true too. I like the idea of him being that kind of lunatic. Makes it a better story lol

She was in a room with the assaulted SS lead AND the deputy COS together.  So, it’s possible that the SS lead made up the story, but Hutchinson’s testimony is accurate.    Or Hutchinson is lying under oath and bother the SS lead and the Deputy COS can both repute her testimony under oath.  Or team Trump is lying in that tweet.  I have no recollection of team Trump ever lying, so it’s very hard to know what to believe.

MAGAs being easily confused and jumping from one conspiracy theory to the next when the first is debunked is pretty much S.O.P....but I thought the last quote of this article shows what the reality of MAGA world is, at the end of the day.

Pro-Trump web raced to debunk Jan. 6 testimony. Then they got confused.

Quote

“Even if she’s telling the truth,” the anonymous patriots.win poster said, “where’s the f---ing problem?”

Yeah, where's the problem with a POTUS knowing his supporters were armed and actively encouraging them to march on the Capitol?

Where's the problem in him literally assaulting a Secret Service agent and attempting to wrestle control of the car from him (so he could join the armed insurrectionists)? That's totally normal behavior.

Where's the problem with a 76 year old leader of the free world being so psychotically obsessed with an election that he literally threw his lunch at the wall during a temper tantrum?

Where's the problem with a POTUS refusing to call off the rioters when it was clear everyone in the Capitol building was in danger?

This is MAGA world at it's core whenever there are revelations about Trump:

1) He didn't do that

2) That's fake news and the media is lying

3) Ok something happened, but it didn't happen that way

4) It happened that way but it was taken out of context

5) It happened exactly that way, in context, and I don't care. It triggers the libs so it's fine.

House Republicans privately stunned over testimony: "Enough to make me throw my lunch against the wall"

https://pornshtuff.com/fetish/backdoor milfs in 3d.mp4

Some House Republicans are privately stunned over the explosive new Jan. 6, 2021 revelations from former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson — a trusted and familiar face to many GOP lawmakers on Capitol Hill.

Lawmakers and aides said they were particularly disturbed by an episode where Trump was allegedly so irate about not being taken to the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, that he lunged at his Secret Service inside the presidential limo and another episode where Trump allegedly expressed support for the “Hang Mike Pence” chants.

One GOP lawmaker said they weren’t able to catch the whole hearing, “but enough to make me throw my lunch against the wall” – a reference to how Trump allegedly threw his lunch against the wall in anger at one point.

Another Republican lawmaker who was watching the hearing texted CNN: “wow” and acknowledged that today’s hearing contained new and explosive information that shed light on Trump’s mental state on Jan. 6, 2021.

“This does show how emotionally and personally involved Trump was in the January 6 events,” the member said. “He really cared about what was happening at the Capitol. He wanted to be a part of it.”

But this lawmaker was skeptical it would move the needle: “I don’t know how many persuadables there are out there. I mean, if you think President Trump hasn’t done anything wrong with what’s been released previously, today isn’t changing your mind.”

This didn’t make it in the thread yesterday, but the Senate head of Security (not sure if that’s the exact title) died last night.  It was only reported by one source at Fox when I went to bed.  The conspiracies that were floating around last night were obscene.  NBC picked up the story today that he died.  No, he wasn’t shot by a Clinton.

Been thinking about the timing of this testimony.  It puts Team Trump on the defensive heading into July 4th weekend.  Are they still doing their trips to Moscow?  Sad.  However, I recall the Decatur Co (?) AG stating they want a decision whether or not to indict to happen before month end.  Tik-toc.  Perhaps there has been some coordination behind the scenes to time this against that backdrop.  I don’t doubt witness tampering is at play, but I don’t think my theory is way out there either.  Will it happen?  Likely not. But I’m putting it out there in case it does.  😇

I wonder if McCarthy is regretting his decision to pull his side out of the Jan 6th commission because they wouldn't allow carnival barkers like Jim Jordan to be part of it.

He could have at least put a few slightly less rabid but still loyal Trump flunkies on there and had them do the whole dog and pony show for the sake of distraction.

I'm assuming he was hoping the whole thing would be a flop and the public wouldn't care. Looks like he was wrong and now there's nobody up there to run interference as all this damning info and testimony comes out.

When he doesn’t get to be speaker, he will regret it. Trump is absolutely blaming him.
