The catcher muffs the stop. The catcher makes a bad throw. Despite all that suckage, the ump rewards them with a judgement call he didn't have to make. If he doesn't make that call, nobody on the Cubs' bench - or anywhere else in baseball - says boo. At a pretty key point in the game too. Just awful.
