He was probably throwing not the worst call in the world, but he really wasn't stressed in any of these innings outside the first. I had more faith in Corbin for the 8th than Suero Edited July 3, 2019 by StillUnknown

TheGoodBits
Shame we don’t have a guy on the bench that could have been hitting there (or a guy that could have pinch run for Eaton and taken over in the field were it not for the fact he’s in the minors).

Bacon
That's what you want in a leadoff man: quality, exhausting ABs and reliable contact. Speed is a great bonus and he has that in spades as well.

Bacon
This is the first time we've been 2 games over .500 since the end of last season. What a gross stat.

StillUnknown
So what bullpen arms should we be looking at for trades? And what are you willing to part with? Will Smith in san fran, maybe look into bringing back felipe vazquez They are both lefties tho, rare to have your two top arms in the pen be lefties. They would obviously be massive upgrades over what we have Edited July 3, 2019 by StillUnknown
Warhead36
Dang I fell asleep right at the start of the 9th inning. Good to get the W though. And we got Stras going today too who owns the Fish.

Relievers are volatile so I think the sweet spot is finding guys who have 1-2 years left on their deals. Pirates are saying Vazquez isn't going anywhere. Couple guys whose names I've seen tossed around: Shane Greene- Tigers - 30 years old, 0.83 WHIP, under contract for 2020 Will Smith- Giants - 29 years old, 0.81 WHIP, rental Edited July 3, 2019 by skinsfan_1215
