If the Cubs were to fall off a cliff, it would actually be helpful, in the sense that it would take the Cardinals (or Brewers) out of play. What I really, truly do not want though is a one off wildcard game at Wrigley, so I actually am rooting for them to keep it together and win the central. And yes, to beat the Phillies.
