this might be unpopular but Joker is the Goat and not Federer.  Something i read totally convinced me to change from Fed to Joker.

Fed has 12 titles before Novak started.  Novak has all of his titles in the heyday of both Nadal and fed.

Joker also had the single greatest season in the history of the sport a couple years back. One of the more amazing individual single season feats in all of sport really. He lost like 2 matches that entire year

It's not unpopular.

A lot of people feel that way and I agree. I think Joker is the best player we have seen and definitely the most gifted.

Once upon a time, Djokovic routinely used to fold when matches got tight. There cant be many athletes who used to crumble in big spots, only to do a complete 180 and dominate tight spots against the best the other 2 best the sport has ever seen. Its remarkable really. He shoehorned his way into history and has arguably surpassed his two rivals in the process

Joker might be more physically talented but when you have the longevity Fed has had, he's the GOAT. Its kinda like comparing Randy Moss to Jerry Rice.

argument against Federer is that he has losing records against his top 2 rivals

There really is no debate on this one until such time as Djokovic surpasses Nadal in slams. (Cue the 'But he's a clay and hard court specialist and without all the French titles ..... ' Which is as asinine an argument as there is.). Never mind getting close to Roger.

Does beg the question why we have this need to constantly say A Particular Guy is better than another? Just relish and appreciate the greatest era in mens tennis there's ever been. Which will be restored to a four-way fight next season as Murray looks like he's finally over the hip issues and pain free.
