Gamebreaker
I would've played more today but I was so exhausted from work last night I just slept. I just created my character, and did the first mission to establish your base of operations. I'll be playing a lot tomorrow. Kurd Cudins
I went and pre-ordered this yesterday then downloaded the beta. It's disappointing that none of the progress transfers forward, but I like the game so far. I get confused by all the different weapon/gear/ability upgrades though. I just want to shoot bad guys. Warhead36
Played a little bit. Gameplay isn't bad, definitely feels more RPG then shooter. I'll wait to hear what kind of endgame there will be before deciding if its worth spending the $ on.

codeorama
I definitely thought the Open Beta was an improvement from the Closed Beta. I already preordered the game so I will be playing for sure.Love the loot system. Hate the bullet sponge aspects but understand that there's no way around that part of it due to the RPG elements. Regardless, My son and I will have fun with this while we wait for new Destiny content.
Pick6
Posted this in the Xbox vs. PS4 thread too, but there is a short film on Amazon Prime. It is called The Division: Agent Origin. Actually pretty decent. It introduces you to the four main characters.

codeorama
I'm very excited for the Division. I like how they laid out the expansions and features. Destiny is so dead right now, this will be extremely fun. I literally have everything possible in Destiny including maxed out characters so there's nothing for me until they drop some new content. I'm really excited about the in squad trading system too. Can't wait to grind for some cool gear.

Warhead36
I'm still undecided. The open beta wasn't bad but didn't really wow me.

Gamebreaker
The Division servers are down already. Hoping they can get this fixed before I pick up my copy around 10AM.
The Mayor of Fed Ex Field
Lol. The servers with Rainbow Six were awful the first week as well. Seems the Betas don't really help them.
Gamebreaker
Before I left work I read Ubisoft issued a statement saying the issue was fixed. I think it had something to do with third UPlay servers. When North America went live, they probably weren't prepared to handle all the incoming bandwidth from users either signing into their accounts or setting them up. codeorama
I got on for an hour at 3:30 am and didn't have any issues. Did the "introduction" missions to get to level 4. Can't wait to start grinding for good gear.
Dont Taze Me Bro
Just tracked my shipment. Got transferred to USPS and says it will be delivered today by 8pm.......great thing is our mail runs around 3:30-4pm, so I can get this installed and ready to go by the time I get off work at 6pm. Then it's grind time and dark zone fun.
Gamebreaker
I'm installing the game now. Because I preordered with GameStop I got the exclusive hazmat gear.
The Mayor of Fed Ex Field
Is this even worth getting right now? I keep seeing that its not working (servers) and buggy. Ubisoft had problems with R6 in December. Maybe in a few days they will have the servers under control, and a patch to address the issues. Xbox Live is even having issues right now it says on their site
DaGoonie55
Until a developer puts in serious investment into client side servers, this will always be an issue. P2P connections, 3rd party interfaces - all cause issues. I can't wait to get off work.
Dont Taze Me Bro
I've always gone ahead and bought a game if it's one I knew I was going to play. Installed it and if servers are down, lag, bugs/errors, etc. exist, I just play another game, watch TV or do something else and try again later. That way, when everything settles down, I'm ready to rock and roll.
The Mayor of Fed Ex Field
Where should I buy the game? I usually go to Game Stop, because most times they have something "exclusive" But Target had Rainbow Six Siege with the Season Pass included, for $59.99. I dont want to miss out on a free $40 if its 2 miles further. $81.09 at Walmart for Gold
Dont Taze Me Bro
I bought mine on Amazon, but decided against the season pass. Wanted to see if I liked the game first, so I'll be SOL
