Thanks Kool.  I'll certainly try..  :P

And as far as Niles goes, I hope you're right as well.  We know he's added weight to help with his blocking skills, but we also know that it's Paulsen that's supposedly the better blocking TE.  What we really need is a Donny Warren type who excelled at blocking, as well as a Clint Didier type to provide the pass catching threat that we all are hoping will be Reed.  He just needs to stay healthy.  Will Niles be able to fill in that gap when he can't be?  Hopefully so..  Still wouldn't hurt kicking the tires on someone that's a proven blocking TE if he can come cheap, imo.  And if he can also double as a pass catching threat, all the better..

I really hope that this is finally the season that we get rid of that knucklehead, Logan Paulsen!   I'll never understand why he makes the team every year! His negatives .. jumping early, dropping easily catchable balls, being a knucklehead, etc .. massively outweigh his minute positives.

Any of you guys/gals down here in southeast Florida (Ft. Lauderdale/Boca) area? Know of any 'Skins bars around here? I have the Sunday Ticket but it'd be cool to sip on a few with some Skins fans...

I know this doesn't answer your question but for what it matters I'm in Southeast Idaho and anytime the skins are playing and your having a sip I'm sippin one with ya while watching the skins play:)

On Trent Murphy -"He rarely threatened the quarterback." - I don't think these are too bad for a rookie linebacker...esp after week 8

Total – 2.5 sacks, 6 hits, 15 hurries for 24 total pressures

After Week 8 – 2.5 sacks, 3 hits, 11 hurries for 17 total pressures

I'm right there with you.  Keim has a way sometimes of getting fixated on certain players flaws while acknowledging improvement as an after thought.

From what I can tell Murphy came to OTAs and was noticeably stronger.........which is exactly what the coaches asked of him during the offseason.  I'd wait to see how that pays off on the field at least for a short period of time before penciling Preston in as "Ultimately the Starter". Do we know if Preston can set the edge? Trent did pretty well in this regard last time I checked.

The Buccaneers are using VR tech to introduce their young QBs to playbooks.  Makes sense to me as having a visual component of what you are studying can make it easier to pick up.

Anyone remember when Donovan McNabb used Strobe glasses against us?   :)  This piece of news made me think about it.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYWqwj6MzRA .
