DixieFlatline
I like watching Kaepernick play and his runs are great. But you sure don't hear the announcers wonder if he should run so much in case he gets hurt. Heck in the first half, he wasn't even trying to slide but was taking people on. 2cents
You also dont' notice them mentioning the 49er WR holding the CBs until after he can turn the corner and make those big plays.

But you sure don't hear the announcers wonder if he should run so much in case he gets hurt. Heck in the first half, he wasn't even trying to slide but was taking people on. He's a bulky guy. It seems like this read option thing is going to take over the NFL. Now let's see GB run some option.
CGSKINS
I hate watching this. We should be playing.

Sometimes taking a regular tackle is better than getting hit awkwardly trying to slide. I said that in the How to protect RG3 thread.
abdcskins
Damn good games today. I took a gander at the Broncos fan forum for 15 or so minutes.
zCommander
7 is in beast mode. That is a ridiculous run. Is it me or did it look like he can run faster than RG3 (before the first injury of course).
Born In 93
Cap looking like an elite QB out there, niners might just pull this off.
Leonard Washington
Is it me or did it look like he can run faster than RG3 (before the first injury of course). not even close...he looks like he's running in quicksand compared to RGIII. Leonard Washington
Watching Kaepernick and wilson play makes me think we over payed for RG3. A healthy RGIII is better than both of them. The Wilson and Kaepernick have better talent around them.

Robert's faster. Ok I was just checking... maybe I am having RG3 not playing right now syndrome...
IrepDC
Is it me or did it look like he can run faster than RG3 (before the first injury of course). Acceleration looks quicker. Kaep also goes all out on each fake as if he's running. I know Griffin stopped doing that so defenders wouldn't hit him when he didn't keep the ball (putting his hands up). I agree a healthy RG3 is the key and he already had a major injury in college. I love love RG3 but Kaepernick and Wilson are steals in comparisonsion to what we gave up for him. respectgibbs
Watching Kaepernick and wilson play makes me think we over payed for RG3. Too early to tell, but maybe. RG3 is our china doll though, and a tough one at that. We love him.

abdcskins
Watching Kaepernick and wilson play makes me think we over payed for RG3. I think you are correct. We gave up a lot for a guy who was going to inevitably get injured very badly. And it happened early in his career.

I said that in the How to protect RG3 thread. Definitely don't disagree. I haven't bought into the media narrative that RGIII should be held back, but I'm sure we won't that hear that about Kaepernick.

Wouldn't not have gotten injured as bad if our idiot coach would have pulled him when it was as plain as day he was injured.
Born In 93
Watching Kaepernick and wilson play makes me think we over payed for RG3. Exact same thing I've been thinking for a while now. Less on cap and more towards wilson tho.
