I was looking for chicken broth the other day at the grocery store. Every freaking can and box said "Fat Free" ....really? WTF? I want the damn fat in it for flavor. The US is too health conscious these days. I do try to eat better, but sometimes we need to be able to eat some crap.

3 dollars a tub.

Also, most mexican food stores have buckets of lard.

Chicken broth is basically just flavored chicken stock. You skim the fat off the top of chicken stock when you make it. More than likely chicken broth has always been fat free, they just figured out you can label it that way and people will buy it more.
