Destructis
http://www.eaglescentral.com/2011/03/several-teams-discussing-trade-with-eagles-for-quarterback-kevin-kolb.html/ ESPN’s NFL expert Adam Schefter reported that several teams are interested in backup quarterback Kevin Kolb. The teams include the San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals, Tennessee Titans, and Washington Redskins. Please don't go after Kolb. :eaglesuck
terpskins10
Blech. We got screwed by the Iggles already. Please don't make it two offseasons in a row. Kolb mostly stunk in the games he played this year aside from the San Fran (?) and Atlanta games. Not sold on him and I feel like his upside is very, very limited. Oldskool
Kolb is a prototypical WCO QB that can throw the short to intermediate routes and doesn't have even an average touch when it comes to deep routes. Skins will be looking for a QB that can do all 3.
Dirt
That's the same list of teams we've seen for months who are 'interested in a QB'. If a QB exists, these teams are 'interested'. As for Kolb, I just don't get it. Does the entire league consider him starting caliber just because Andy Reid said so? The same Andy Reid who, btw, did NOT start him last season? clskinsfan
I really dont get all the hype about this guy. He is a turnover machine. He will throw some touchdowns. But we already have that player on our roster. Rex is the same player you get the turnovers with the TD's and at least he is a little more mature. Conn
This is totally false. Schefter specifically said that there were "at least 3 teams interested in trading for Kevin Kolb", and that "the NFC West outside of the Rams should be looking into it" (paraphrased). He never said that we were one of the interested teams, its just been speculated that that's the case. He also never said the anyone in the NFC West was, either, just that they should be. People have such a hard time separating what is specifically said by Schefter, and what's not, and even what is his opinion, and what he knows from sources. stoney26
Can't make this move. Can't imagine trading picks two years in a row on eagles back ups. I usually couldn't care less what media says about us but this would just be to embarrassing. They will fleece is again.
HigSkin
I call bogus. Kolb is a system QB and Reed has been disguising it much like he did with McNabb. No more fleecing from the Eagles. Let some team not likely interested in a McNabb trade have him, like Carolina.

The way that media outlets run with his words, and even ADD THEIR OWN is ridiculous.
HigSkin
http://twitter.com/adamschefter Hard to pinpoint specific teams interested in Kevin Kolb, but every NFC West team except St. Louis has to consider him and deal with Eagles. Teams still can discuss deals, just can't complete them (like NBA in June). At least three teams debating deals for Eagles QB Kevin Kolb.

Destructis
Sorry, I just saw it and though it relevant to the Skins. At least I posted it as a rumor. Don't want to get NNT'd for that.
jflow78
Dream on, there's no way in **** that Shanahan and Allen would trade more for Kolb than they did for McNabb. The Eagles are ridiculous, and unless they drop their asking price, they're stuck with him.

Truant
**** Philly. They do this with all their players. They drum up fake interest in their players to try to bend people over at the bargaining table.

War Paint
I wouldn't mind Kolb at all, but there's no way I want to do a deal with the Eagles again. If the Eagles ripped us off two years in a row, we would never, ever live that down.
SWFLSkins
Kolb has as much chance of being a Redskin as does Albert Haynesworth being completely effective as a NT.
Truant
Lol. You're saying this like they are the only team that does it. No, but they are one of the most effective. They radically overvalue their own players (all the talk about Kolb for TWO first round picks) and then it seems reasonable if they'll trade Kolb for one. The TO trade. The McNabb trade. Mike Bell for Jerome Harrison. 5th round pick for Ernie Sims. \ Trading Stacy Andrews for a draft pick. Trading Tracy White (who?) for a draft pick. Eagles front office is extremely shrewd, moreso than most.
