ESPN’s NFL expert Adam Schefter reported that several teams are interested in backup quarterback Kevin Kolb.

The teams include the San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals, Tennessee Titans, and Washington Redskins.

Please don't go after Kolb. :eaglesuck

Blech. We got screwed by the Iggles already. Please don't make it two offseasons in a row.

Kolb mostly stunk in the games he played this year aside from the San Fran (?) and Atlanta games. Not sold on him and I feel like his upside is very, very limited.

That's the same list of teams we've seen for months who are 'interested in a QB'. If a QB exists, these teams are 'interested'.

As for Kolb, I just don't get it. Does the entire league consider him starting caliber just because Andy Reid said so? The same Andy Reid who, btw, did NOT start him last season?

I really dont get all the hype about this guy. He is a turnover machine. He will throw some touchdowns. But we already have that player on our roster. Rex is the same player you get the turnovers with the TD's and at least he is a little more mature.

This is totally false.

Schefter specifically said that there were "at least 3 teams interested in trading for Kevin Kolb", and that "the NFC West outside of the Rams should be looking into it" (paraphrased).

He never said that we were one of the interested teams, its just been speculated that that's the case. He also never said the anyone in the NFC West was, either, just that they should be.

People have such a hard time separating what is specifically said by Schefter, and what's not, and even what is his opinion, and what he knows from sources.

He even went as far as to say that he did NOT know who was interested for sure yet.

This is all speculation.

Exactly. The way that media outlets run with his words, and even ADD THEIR OWN is ridiculous.

Hard to pinpoint specific teams interested in Kevin Kolb, but every NFC West team except St. Louis has to consider him and deal with Eagles.

Teams still can discuss deals, just can't complete them (like NBA in June). At least three teams debating deals for Eagles QB Kevin Kolb.

THIS is what websites, etc. should have to quote directly in their articles, instead of making **** up like the one in the OP did, and using Schefter's name to give it false "legitimacy".

Lol. You're saying this like they are the only team that does it.

No, but they are one of the most effective. They radically overvalue their own players (all the talk about Kolb for TWO first round picks) and then it seems reasonable if they'll trade Kolb for one. The TO trade. The McNabb trade. Mike Bell for Jerome Harrison. 5th round pick for Ernie Sims. \

Trading Stacy Andrews for a draft pick. Trading Tracy White (who?) for a draft pick.

Eagles front office is extremely shrewd, moreso than most.
