TradeTheBeal!
Hollow wins like this are reminders of how useless making the #8 seed is. Unless we can reach the 7 or better, there's no point. The players are good, but we need change elsewhere. 2 games out of the 7 seed!
Sacks 'n' Stuff
So what're we gonna do this offseason? Have we given up on Durant coming and/or putting us over the top? Edited March 18, 2016 by Sacks 'n' Stuff
Destino
That game is an example of why this team has underachieved three years in a row. They are terribly inconsistent mentally.
Going Commando
So what're we gonna do this offseason? Have we given up on Durant coming and/or putting us over the top? They'll pursue Durant. He'll be one of the first dominoes to fall because the market depends on him. He'll probably pick his destination within the Moratorium period. If he chooses someone else, then we'll have a **** ton of cap room to pursue lesser free agents. There is no clear plan B, but there will be a lot of pretty solid players available and we should be able to sign a couple of decent rotation players. I want to see us sign Ryan Anderson, keep Jared Dudley, keep Ramon Sessions, and sign a legit back up C. Maybe Bismack Biyombo, or someone like him. Biggest thing though, this team needs a new front office and coaching staff. Supposedly Randy's contract is up after this season, and Ernie's is supposed to be too. But Ernie might have gotten another secret extension, so we don't really know what his contract situation is.
TheItalianStallion
Just think, if those recent losses to Chicago and Indy had gone the other way, we'd be tied for the 7th seed now.
Rocky21
I can't remember the last team I saw in any sport that plays down to the competition like these Washington Wizards.
Warhead36
I can't remember the last team I saw in any sport that plays down to the competition like these Washington Wizards. They don't play down to the competition. They're just a bad team. Bad teams don't blow out other bad teams.
Going Commando
Just think, if those recent losses to Chicago and Indy had gone the other way, we'd be tied for the 7th seed now. They were crucial blown games. Been a lot of those this season. 1.5 games out of the 8th seed. To stay alive we have to beat New York and split with Atlanta, then beat both Minnesota. After that it's a five game Western road trip where we absolutely have to beat the Lakers, Kings, and Suns. Golden State is a certain loss and the Clippers game is probably a loss too. Then in the final five games, we get Brooklyn twice, both must win games. Get another one at Detroit that we obviously have to win. And then Charlotte and Atlanta at the Verizon center are the two others, and I think we probably have to split those. That would be going 10-4 and put us at 43-39 for the season, probably good enough for the 8th seed. We simply can not lose another game that we should win. Going Commando
Playing like ass. This is ugly. Nobody but John seems to give a damn tonight. Absolutely pathetic ball and player movement. Seriously, they don't give a ****. Zero urgency. Unbelievable.

Going Commando
Holy **** this is horrible to watch. 28 points scored through most of the second quarter. 18 points down against the Knicks at home. These guys are ****ing terrible. This game will put us out of our misery. An embarrassing end to an embarrassing season. The only reason to watch this team is to enjoy Wall's individual brilliance. The rest of this team is ****ing trash.

Destino
Horrible efficiency all over the place. Beal, Porter, Dudley, Anderson, and Sessions are a combined 4-25 for 10 points. That accounts for more than half of the Wizards 1st half shot attempts (44).
Going Commando
They were completely disinterested. Beal is playing like ****. Otto can't hit anything and has chucked some dumb ones but he is playing with a near professional level of effort. Beal and Sessions are not. Dudley's shot is just off. The defense has been awful tonight too. Otto guarding Porzingis is not a good situation. Man Porzingis is going to be a devastating PnR player. Why, praytell, is Morris guarding Melo and Otto guarding Porzingis?

Going Commando
Morris's dunks are fun to watch. Dude has some hands. Whatever flavor of Capri Sun they gave the guys at halftime...they should keep going with that. It's John. He got Morris in it with that Alley Oop and then he got Gortat in it with all those easy looks. They join Wall in the game and everything proceeds from there. I give Wittman zero credit for this. He checked out a couple of weeks ago. Oh no he missed it! Hot dogged it. Damn that would have brought the house down. Damn what a ****ty way to end an otherwise brilliant quarter by Wall. You can tell he was still pissed at himself for missing that dunk and his head wasn't in it on that final possession. He held the ball too long and didn't give the team a chance for the offensive rebound.
CRobi21
Morris has played some lights out defense on Melo. Neneuro?! Well done! Edited March 20, 2016 by STBonecrusher21
