Marko Mitchell is proof that there is more to making a football team than a few nifty looking catches in a preseason game against third-stringers.

He did it on the 'Skins and the Vikes, but both organizations felt he was not good enough to go up against starters. I don't recall if he ever was even in the game against starters for either team.

I wouldnt call it a "we should sign" post. im just stating why the idea of signing him might be in the coaches heads and asking if anyone knows anything about it. That's what the forums are for, discussions about the redskins. im discussing shawn springs possibilites and what he brings to the table, and wondering if the coaches share the interest. i know my opinion matters not to the coaches, its their decision, and 99% of the time none of the crazy theories here actually happen.

I didnt search because i thought bumping topics was against the rules and i want up to date information. in the preseason, last weeks information might as well be years old.

We are having a preponderance of threads being started, particularly in the Stadium forum, where a title of 2 to 3 non-descriptive words is used. This shows a lack of courtesy to your fellow members. With an ever-increasing number of new threads every day, and an expanding member base, members become more selective about which threads to open and spend their time reading, and which ones to bypass. They cannot do that if the thread titles are 'Guess what?', 'Hey, I just noticed...', or 'WTF!' You are also creating extra work for the Staff who, instead of just merging redundant, repetitive threads based on accurate titles, now has to open each one up and try and figure out where it belongs. So, regardless of the forum, if your thread title is simply "Santana Moss" or any other person's name and nothing else, you may find yourself in the No New Threads group. In all our forums, we expect accurate and clear descriptions of your topic in your title.

You should just start one thread and call it something like "players", or whatever fits your needs, which are probably against the rules. Then, list all the players you think we should bring in.

You'd probably get the "NO" from everybody anyway.

I'm currently a free agent. Maybe they should give me a shot. My endurance sucks and my knees are as brittle as rice paper and I don't handle the heat very well, but I scored three touchdowns in Madden once. All in a single quarter to boot.

With the emergence of Anthony Armstrong out of nowhere, maybe we dont need Marko back. But the injury to Kelly and the prospects of once again, NO viable goal to go WR threat, maybe we should take a look.

Everyone flipping out that he cant help us, maybe someone can cue up the tube of the end zone fade we tried to ARE, and set it on repeat mode. I think our WR corp will be even tinier this year, if thats even possible.
