I have heard that there is a very good chance of some investigations coming down on the federal level after November. I mean think about it, knowing politics like we do, if indeed the conservatives do take the house and senate, would it honestly shock you if they did call for investigations? Surely wouldnt me. The only time I've seen the term "deather" used was by a small minority of liberals that tried to apply it to health care opponents that were talking about "death panels" and telling people they could be euthanized as a result of the law passing. I'm not saying your pro death or anything like that even though you are somewhat supportive of a drug cartel over law enforcement along with some in here(everyone is entitled to their opinion of course). The first time I heard that a drug cartel was putting a bounty on a sheriff I was appalled...but hey that's just me.

But there is a book that says in the last days "lawlessness" will abound so I am not surprised one bit.

Maybe that lawlessness means a rogue Sheriff catching illegal immigrants or maybe that lawlessness could mean a whole bunch of people supporting the death of a county Sheriff and giving high fives when it happens, if it does at all. I pray it won't happen. This is not the same USA I grew up in.

For 33 years I have lived in Arizona. I did not agree with the immigration philosophy of George Bush and now Obama either.

I've had helicopters flying over my house with spotlights for illegals. A few years back we had a huge accident in which the police put down spikes near an intersection to stop a human smuggler in a van in a chase. He blew his tires and flew in the air and landed on a line of cars that were in line turning left coming from the opposite direction.

The van demolished like 4 cars and crushed 2 people to death instantly with many hurt. some of the stuff happening in phoenix is unreal with drug cartels already.

Those are a few isolated incidents the way things are going they will only increase not decrease.

Any sane person after 9-11 can ask the question how many of these illegals could be a terrorist?

I'm about 30 miles away where the rancher was killed. My wife works for a local doctor and knew the family as patients. The guy was known for aiding illegals whenever he could.

That's my rant...Illegals are illegals and I still really believe I'm not racist but the word works. It keeps a lot of good people's mouth shut out of fear which is exactly what it is designed to do.

I've often wondered if the Spanish telemarketing calls you sometimes get were something like this. I had an acquaintance of mine who spoke Spanish listen to one of them once, and asked him to translate it for me. He said they were trying to get social security numbers, but I was skeptical. Seems like even if they were trying to get them for people who would come here illegally, it would make far more sense to try to get them by using english-speaking callers.

Wonder what they will say when it turns out that it was the administration in Washington that was corrupt and not the Sheriff? My guess........Not much, if anything. I don't think you understand how politics work in this country. There isn't a bloodbath each time new guys get elected into office. For example, even the crazy socialist African Muslim Obama didn't seek to prosecute Alberto Gonzalez for essentially authorizing torture, Cheney or Bush for authorizing warrantless wiretaps, etc. So, although I know you would like to see Obama, Pelosi, and Reid strung up by a hangman, it's not going to happen. But, I so think it's funny that you are almost threatening people that if Arpaio or a Republican in the house is prosecuted now, after the elections "we'll be comin' after ya."
