fnkdctr(007)
Exhibit A: poorly titled original headlineExhibit B: lack of original idea that has been rehashed several times over Exhibit C: could easily have been a post in one of the multitude of draft threads already in existence Verdict? Judge jury executioner! Lol. And the poor "why" I could here your poor innocence and sadness. Why he asked as the thread police beat him mercilessly. But don't worry you can still edit and save your arse just retitle as..........arhhhhhhhhhhh no WHY?

fnkdctr(007)
If they do trade Cooley it better be sweet. 1st 2nd and some change.

Burgundy Burner
Let's continue with the philosophy of our new FO. Get rid of the dead weight and add quality. I say we keep quality - and that would include Cooley and Davis.
GeoPro
I've heard it too and I hope we keep him and Davis. Two TE sets would be nice with both of them and keep D guessing pass or run.
DGREENHULK
I think you should be NNTd No link just speculation...I'm almost in agreement with you here. You can't just throw out CC or Fred being traded with no hard proof of story....
THE HAMMER'IN HOG
Involve the trade of C, Cooley or F. Davis? If we ridded one of them and AH, then we should be loaded on picks. What do you think? Funny I just got off the phone with a buddy of mine who's a huge Bengal fan, and he wants Greisham, I told him I would trade Cooley to either the Bengals, or the Pats for their 1st, we can't afford to keep 2 players at the same position that are that good, and I think Davis is going to be a monster. MumboSauce
I expect us to acquire more picks than what we have now after selecting Trent, how they come about who knows.
wilburmarshall
I thought that Cooley could be trade bait, but I have not heard one reliable source mention his name. I would not be crushed by seeing Cooley go. He has been a great Skin, but if by moving him, it will help rebuild this team, so be it.
redskindan07
Lets hope that we do make a deal or two for additional picks

Dr. Terrapin
Cooley has been one tough Redskin for several years. Davis played a few good weeks. Davis can go if someone wants to pay enough, but COOLEY MUST STAY.
shakinaiken
sigh, this has been talked about before, but if you can a good deal for cooley, then i feel you have to pull the trigger... two pass catching tight ends is a luxery, it really is. with all the needs on this team, it wouldnt make sense not too. But i dont know, not many players have been as beloved as cooley has by fans...
RabidFan
The big surprise is we drafted an OL before the 4th round. LOL
LoudMouth12thMan
McNabb throws the majority of his completions to TEs. Not gonna happen at all!
Monrovia_Redskin
The Redskins shouldn't trade either Cooley or Davis away just because they happen to have depth at one positions(TE). Anybody remember Sean Gilbert? He was kind of Stubblefield and Haynesworth's GreatGrandFather(or something like that) ...anyway the redskins got two FIRST ROUND DRAFT picks for him from the Panthers I believe. My point is a DT like Haynesworth is worth a lot more than a 2nd round pick and the Redskins should get nothing less than at least one 1st round pick for him. I'd rather the Redskins have a disgruntled Haynesworth on the field than a 2nd round pick. Who are they going to get in the 2nd round worth Haynesworth? Monrovia_Redskin
Maybe the reason McNabb never won a Super Bowl in Philly is because Andy Reid didn't believe in the running game...at all...

RaynMan757
We aren't trading cooley. He sells waaaay to many jersey's in DC and Shanahan LOVES his tight ends. Would NEVER happen. There is no BIG suprise.
The Cowboy Bamma Rocker
Nah, we'll use both as playmakers, especially if we don't pick up a big name receiver.
Conn
I heard something a few days ago about the Pats being interested in Cooley draft picks It's been said on here multiple times in the past that the Pats' system really has no use for a pass-catching TE, and especially not an elite one.
