Ajamrani
The rams are asking for a 2nd round pick for him... What would you guys offer for him??I think he can come in and be our RT right away!! I would give up a 4th round pick, Pick up sproles in FA, Try to get bradford in the 1st and pick up a LT in the 2nd! http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/03/01/rams-ready-to-part-ways-with-alex-barron/
Gibbsisgod2006
He is not worth a second rd pick.
fdarugar
Thats odd, I wonder why they dont want him to be there RT? Is he even worth a second rounder?

Santana_Fan
wow, trade 2nd round picks for guys on teams so bad they cant even beat us.less trading picks please. I agree with this. If you can't make the Rams team, then there's definitely a problem.
Hitman#21
A pick and Barron for JC would be great two fold: A.May mean Rams wont take a QB B.Skins get a legitamate tackle.
grego
last year, he was rated exactly one spot better than our own stephon heyer. not that these ratings are 100% accurate.... http://profootballfocus.com/by_position.php?tab=by_position&season=2009&pos=T&stype=r&runpass=&teamid=-1&numsnaps=25&numgames=
stoney26
I'd be willing to do JC for Barron and a 4th from the Rams. I think a straight up swap would be fine. We take the best available QB at 4, another tackle in the 2nd, and we have two (hopefully) starters at Tackle for our O-Line and a QB for the future. I think in the interim we would suck horribly, however. We really do need to keep JC...it's unfortunate that there is not even a remotely capable starting caliber QB in FA this year. 757SeanTaylor21
negative. theres a reason the rams are letting him go.
acuratl1984
5th rounder! With all the talent in the draft, I woundn't even give them a 7th rounder for Barron..
terrifNick21
You have to look at the team that's wanting to trade him away..... If THEY want to get rid of him...you can almost bet we don't want him unless it's Jackson or Atogwe.
Brandon Lloyd Christmas
I'd be willing to do JC for Barron and a 4th from the Rams. JC for barron straight up and youve got a deal. no more trading picks.

fdarugar
JC for barron straight up and youve got a deal.no more trading picks. I absolutely would not trade a pick for him. I don't think Barron is worth a 2nd at all though. Not that I overvalue JC or anything but I think we'd be coming up on the short end of the stick if we did a straight up trade. grego
Yeah but that was at LT not RT which is what he should be playing. i dont know much about st louis, but why did they draft a RT when they had him? says on his wiki page that he's been plagued by false start penalties. Hitman#21
Side note: The Saints are closing in on a long-term deal with restricted free agent LG Jahri Evans, according to ESPN's Len Pasquarelli.
kingdaddy
Trade JC for Barron and swap draft positions in round 1. Draft Bradford or Claussen. Start Collins, backup with Brennan or Jeff Garcia (in that case Brennan would be cut) and groom Bradfore/Claussen as the 3rd stringer. Draft O-line in the 2nd round, and go from there. We could fill in on the O-line with veteran free agents thru free agency, maybe some one from Denver? In 2011 go with Claussen. In other words, I'm more confident with Todd Collins or Jeff Garcia than I am with JC until we get to our future QB. We need to start building Rome back up. Riggins77
JC for barron straight up and youve got a deal.no more trading picks. He didn't say our 4th, he said JC for Barron and the Rams 4th.

Chicken Fried
I'd rather draft our own RT. I don't think Shanny and Allen will be trading many picks away this year.
dfbovey
I'd sign him if he were unrestricted. Instant upgrade over Heyer. Wouldn't give up a pick for him though.
