DCSaints_fan
I don't really follow the NBA all that much, but I just checked the standings and I can't believe that the Nets have only won 4 games all year, with 44 losses! That gives them a .083 winning percentage. If they stay at their current pace, they will apparently break the NBA record for futilitiy, which is held by the 1973 Philadelphia Sixers (9-73 = .110) http://www.nbauniverse.com/statistics/worst_seasons.htm
Kosher Ham
There is a thread about the NBA. But, yes they are pathetic.
Sikbug
Hopefully when they move to Brooklyn they get better lol.
Patrick Evidente
The Capitals only won 8 games in their inaugural season in 1974-75.
HighOnHendrix
I think they won 3 of those 4 games in December, back when they were on a hot streak.
G.A.C.O.L.B.
And they still probably won't get the #1 overall pick. Oh how I love that system.
ixcuincle
Yeah, the NBA draft lottery is one of the most dumbest draft lotteries in sports. They will probably end up with the 3rd or 4th pick. All this tanking and they probably won't get John Wall Well then that means the Wizards can get the #1 pick then and draft John Wall. Lol he'll replace Gilbert
Kosher Ham
I love the lottery system, I prefer it over the NFL top ten drafts.
Zguy28
Wow, it must suck to be a NJ/NY area fan of basketball. Then again, I guess we can feel their pain after this year in Washington with football, basketball, and baseball.
DCranon21
This year they are the epitome of THE SUCK. They played the Wiz last weekend, and found a way to lose the game, that they could of won. It's real sad. Frank was a good coach for them, but he couldn't work with this roster.

Kosher Ham
Anyone that wears a bag to the game should not go anyway. To me that is pathetic. Not that you have to be a Chief Zee or the Hogettes.
KDawg
The Capitals only won 8 games in their inaugural season in 1974-75. Key words being "inaugural season". Sure, winning 8 games is pathetic, but the Nets are no expansion team.

People go to watch the knicks because its popular, no one really cares if they do well or not lol.
SkinsTerps26
the knicks in the 90s were bigger than life. and thats with the giants winning in the early part of the decade and yankees domination in the tail end.

KDawg
doesn't matter. It is just as bad It's worse. That was my point. The Nets being this bad is worse than any expansion team being bad in their first year.

pjfootballer
I love the lottery system, I prefer it over the NFL top ten drafts. What is it about the Lottery you like? I'm curious of your opinion and not trying to be argumentative. I hate that the Wizards have been completely screwed out of top 3 picks over the years only to drop down to 5, 6 or 7 because their little ping pong ball didn't come up. We end up with Calbert Cheaney instead of Shaq or Penny for example.
