In his case, it's a first. Doubtful anybody offers a pick that high for him but we get him cheap for another year. BTW - this is assuming it's an uncapped year. That's really the only smart thing to do, with all the holes to fill on offense, it wouldn't really be smart to create any on defense to go along with it. Some of our defensive players really had a bad year, but under different coaching and a different system, and hopefully an offense that can spot them some points...I look for them to get better. It's no secret Rogers isn't a lockdown top 5 corner in the league, but the scheme definitely didn't do him any favors. It didn't help him at all.
